The Ramblings of a Rambler

This will be an anthology-type-thing of my poems that I think would be best with others instead of being published separately. Enjoy.

6. 5.

I was once told as a child
that clouds were candy floss,
and babies were brought
by a friendly stork.
They said I could be a princess,
and the world would be
perfect.
But in this world
clouds are a form of precipitate,
babies are made
in primitive ways,
and princes can become princesses
if they duly wish.
The childish innocence is gone
in a matter of facts.
