9. The tower

Niall pulled up into my driveway. I could see that only a few lights were on in the house. Niall got out and then came and opened up the door for me. I smiled as I got out. We held hands up to the door and then I dug around in my bag for my key. I unlocked the door and we walked in. The house seemed pretty quiet. No one was downstairs but I could hear movement upstairs.

"We're home!" Niall shouted out. We heard someone running and then Louis came hopping down the stairs.

"There's the lovebirds," he said as he walked up to us. I blushed. "How was your date?" he asked. Niall took a hold of my hand again and I smiled up at him.

"It was the best night of my life," I said. Niall smiled.

"Same here, I think I've found my princess," Niall said. I felt my stomach start to ache. I didn't know he felt like that. But I wasn't going to protest.

"Well that's good," Louis said as he looked up the stairs. "Now we have a surprise for you," he said. "Close your eyes, Niall and I will help you up the stairs," he said.

I closed my eyes and I felt Louis grab onto my other hand. They started to lead me up the stairs and as we got to the top I started to open my eyes but Louis told me we weren't there yet. I closed my eyes again and we started going up the stairs to the tower. What could they have up here? I wondered. I heard the door to the tower open and then the boys yell out "Surprise!"

I opened my eyes and looked around the tower. It was completely different from yesterday. There was no more dirt and wood laying all over the place. The walls were now a dark red color with navy blue curtains. In the middle of the room was a navy blue couch and a dark red bean bag. A flat screen tv hung on the wall and a white desk sat by the window. And on either side of the door was a British and Irish flag.

I walked around the room touching everything. I know I didn't leave it like this.  I smiled at everything. This was exactly how I wanted it. I turned around and saw the boys smiling at me. I walked up the each one of them and gave them each a hug a kiss on the cheek.

"This is amazing," I told them. "Thank you so much," I said.

"There's more," Harry said as Liam turned off the light.

The room was completely dark now except for city lights coming through the windows. I heard someone turn on another switch and now the room was illuminated with small lights that hung near the ceiling. It was so magical. I started laughing from how amazing it all was. I thought that the night couldn't get any better from my date with Niall, but I was wrong.
