7. Ready for the date

I slipped a light blue sleevless dress on that reached my knees, and found my blue flip flops with a little sea shell flower on them. Then I flat ironed my hair and curled it under and added some light makeup. Perfect. I thought as I smiled in the mirror. I heard the boys downstairs talking and I walked out of my room and down the stairs. All the boys, except Niall, sat in the living room. Liam was on the phone with someone and as I walked into the room, he walked out. I shot Harry a worried glance.

"Did I do something wrong?" I asked. Harry shook his head.

"No, he's just taking a business call," he said.

"Niall will be down in a minute, he's just getting ready," Zayn said. I smiled. I was excited.

"Are you boys sure you'll be alright here?" I asked.

"If your asking if we're going to not burn the house down," Zayn started.

"We'll try not to," Louis said. I laughed.

"You better not. I would like to come back tonight with this house exactly as it is. Or as close to it as you can manage," I said.

"Don't worry, I'll watch them," Liam said as he walked back in.

"And here comes the lucky man now," Harry whistled.

I spun around and saw Niall walking down the stairs. He wasn't wearing anything fancy but he still looked amazing. He wore his Crazy Mofos shirt and khaki shorts. He wore a green baseball cap and sunglasses hung from his shirt. I smiled and walked up to him as he reached the end of the stairs.

"Ready to go?" he asked as he grabbed my hand. I nodded as he led me out the door.

"So what do you have planned?" I asked as I noticed a red convertible in my driveway.

"Paul dropped it off. I told him I needed a ride," Niall said as he held the door open for me. I smiled as I got in. "But I thought we could go get some ice cream, walk down the beach, eat some seafood on the beach, and I've always wanted to ride one of those bikes I've seen around here," he said as he started to drive away.

"Sounds like a great day ahead," I said. Niall reached over and grabbed my hand and smiled over at me.

"I hope it's a great day," he said. I smiled at him. This already was a great day.
