Truth or Lie?

Callie Jones and a few other guests go to London for the summer. Main reason; to see her family and visit her hometown. Usually on trips, there is that one thing that is not on the agenda. In this case, a romance or two will start to form, a fight or seven might break out, some hypercritical statements and situations, an unknown fact that will shock everyone, and a unique way of meeting five members of the world famous band. But there is one thing wrong with that... Callie isn't too fond of One Direction. So will her summer be all a truth or lie?

16. Chapter 14

"So... How was lunch?" I called out to my best friends as I flipped over the back of the couch and flopped down on the appropriate side of the couch. I sprawled out, leaving no room for Alexa and Eric to sit on this couch. At least they still have the other couch.

"Wish you were there," Alexa laughed as she entered the living room from the little hallway that connected to the kitchen. I just looked at her. "It was funny to see the waitress flirt with Eric. Poor Eric," Alexa spoke with a smirk as she hung her head.

"Poor Eric?" I laughed. "Poor girl," I told her. She looked at me and shook her head. Eric then walked in from the kitchen hallway. My jaw dropped when he entered the living room. I quickly slapped my hand over my mouth to prevent myself from laughing.

"No I mean poor Eric," Alexa laughed. I couldn't help but laugh at the sight of him. He just leaned against the door frame with a pretty ticked look on his face. His once white shirt was now splattered with various colors, or should I say food.

"She was walking by our table with a tray full of food and she tripped... And... Yeah," Eric said awkwardly. I just laughed at him.

"And you haven't changed out of your food covered clothes?" I asked him. He opened his mouth like he was going to say something, but nothing came out.

"Go change. Then we are going to the mall!" Alexa squealed. Eric rolled his eyes and so did I. "Now," Alexa commanded. Eric rolled his eyes again and went upstairs to change.

"Ugh Alexa," Eric groaned. "How many stores are we going to go into and not buy anything?" he complained. I just laughed. "My feet hurt," he whined.

"Would like some crackers with your whine?" Alexa laughed. I just looked at her and we continued to walk.

"Can we go home?" Eric complained. I groaned and so did Alexa.

"You're 18 not 5," I told him. He rolled his eyes and continued to walk.

"Eric and I will be right back. Let's meet at the entrance in 2 hours," Alexa informed me. I gave her a confused look. "Eric and I... Uh... We... We have to..." she stumbled. We stopped walking and I looked between her and Eric.

Eric sighed. "I can't believe I am telling you this..." he mumbled. "We need to get some last minute presents for your birthday," Eric told me. I just nodded and before I could say anything, they ran off.

"Ok bye," I mumbled and walked off in the opposite direction.

I have been wandering around this mall for about half an hour now. I was growing board. My phone was close to dying so it's not like I can sit and play some games. I would call a cab, but Alexa has my keys and I have no idea where she is. I have texted her and Eric but they aren't texting me back. I have texted my parents but they have some work thing to do. Same goes for my grandma.

I kept walking down through the mall hoping to find a store or at least Eric and Alexa. I looked down at my phone and started to text Alexa and Eric. I wasn't really paying attention because there weren't a lot of people around. I then felt my body collide with something and I felt my phone leave my hands. Did I just run into a pole? Wall?

"I'm so sorry," I heard someone say. I looked down and saw my phone laying on the ground. I bent down to pick it up only to have something hit my head. I groaned and looked up to meet a pair of brown eyes. The way they sparkled my heart skip a beat. I felt like the world around us stopped. I was speechless.

"Wow... First I run into you and make you drop your phone, then I go to pick up your phone only to have me hit you in the head. I'm sorry love," the British, who looked around my age, spoke to me. His accent was like no other. It made my heart want to melt. The way he smiled made me want to smile. I just continued to stare into his eyes.

"Uh... I... It's ok. I should have been looking where I was going," I stumbled. The guy bent down and picked up my phone for me. He handed me my phone and when our hands touched, I felt a little shock... The good kind...

"How about I take a pretty girl like you to get some lunch? As a way to say I'm sorry," he smiled. My heart skipped a beat. I gave him a simple nod and he gave me a bigger smile. We then started to walk towards the food court.

"I never got your name..." he said while still looking ahead. I looked up at him and then back ahead.

"Callie," I smiled. He looked down at me due to being a little taller than me, and nodded.

"The name's Liam."
