The Weapon Witch: Book 2

This is the second book following The Weapon Witch. Soka has joined Arachne's forces and the DWMA is looking for her. What's gonna happen? Idk I'll figure it out as I write lol

2. Vinjio

I looked at the coffee as I swirled it around in my mug. I was sitting in the classroom, barely listening to Stein. After what had happened with Soka, I wasn't the same. I'd lost my weapon. No, I'd lost my best friend. My new weapon, Lucille, was a hammer. A long metal handle with a large silver head, twice the size of my head.

She had light brown hair cut perfectly at her shoulders with perfectly cut bangs hanging over her eyebrows. Her faceless petite with emerald eyes and a big smile she shared with everyone. I missed Soka though, I didn't flow as well with Lucille. "Vinjio, are you listening?" Stein called.

I looked up. "Yeah..." I called back.

'This was Soka's favorite coffee.' My mind traveled to the smell in my nose.

Lucille looked up at me. I sat in Soka's old seat. Lucille wore a gray plaid skirt that went midthigh. She had a white blouse on with a little black bowtie. She had knee high white socks and black shoes. She smiled warmly at me but I only looked into the mug once more. "Mr. Nakatsukasa if you're not going to pay attention then sit out in the hall." Stein said.

"I thought the whole point of this class was to learn." I snapped.

"It is but lately you haven't been learning much." Stein retorted.

"It's not my problem our teachers are such jack asses!" I growled.

"Go in the hall Vinjio and I'll speak with you after class."

"Maybe I don't want to go in the hall." I clutched the coffee mug tighter.

"We are all sorry about the loss of Soka but we're not moping around like you!" He snarled.

I stood and chucked the mug at his head. He dodged and in shattered against the chalk board, coffee dribbling down it's green surface. I breathed heavily. He couldn't just bring her into a conversation. It was his fault we were in this mess. His and Spirits. "Rot in hell you bastard!" I screamed and ran out of the classroom.

I went to sit on the steps infront of DWMA. Since she'd left I'd taken up smoking. I took one out and took my lighter. I lit the cigarette and took a long drag. "Vinjio, you shouldn't smoke." Tsubaki's soft voice said.

She sat beside me, worry in her eyes. "It helps." I swallowed.

"Helps what?" She murmured.

So caring. "It helps the pain." I puffed out some smoke and watched it drift aimlessly.

"The pain will go away if you stop thinking about what happened."

I should probably mention my left arm, the one that got cut off, was replaced. Stein had made a metal arm and attached it to my stump, so it was kinda hard to forget when you have a permanent reminder. "It'll get better." She kissed my head.
