5. Soka

I sighed. We were sitting on a roof top near the stairs of DWMA. Giriko, of course, wanted to just barge in and kill him but I told him it'd be easier if her was alone. And plus, I didn't want to see Vinjio again. "Why does it take so long?" He growled.

He was stretched out on his back. "It's school." I sat next to him.

"So?"

I sighed and rolled my eyes. "So, they need to learn."

"Wimps." He mumbled.

I turned back to the school. "They'll be coming out any minute now." I said.

Soon the doors opened and kids filed out. I spotted the group. "There." I breathed.

Giriko sat up and watched with me. I sucked in a breath as I saw Vinjio. He was with...another weapon? Pain stung me. I watched, horrified, as he wrapped his arm around her waist and smiled. His left arm was now metal. I clenched my fists as more pain boiled in my body. The girl leaned up and kisses his cheek.

He didnt push her away. Only returned it. I made a small sound of pain and Giriko looked at me. I looked down. So Vinjio didn't need me. He didnt miss me. He found someone else. "Soka?" Giriko asked.

His voice was soft. "I'm fine." I wiped my face and looked down.

I watched Crona walk beside Maka as the group laughed and talked. I heard vinjio's laughter and my ears rang. I bit my lip. "Soka..." Giriko wrapped an arm around me.

He was being so nice. "What?" I snapped.

"It's ok." He said.

"Yeah sure."

"You have Arachne now. And Arachnaphobia." He paused. "You have me."

He kissed the top of my head. My eyes widened. "G-Giriko." I pushed away.

He stared at me. "What?"

"Nothing lets just kill Crona." I said and turned.

I leaped roof top to roof top following Crona and the others. I'd catch him alone when he left the others. I'd have to work as quick as I could though. And that would be no rash feat. He was black blooded. "Soka hold on!" Giriko called.

I kept going. I wanted to get away. This city and the people in it confused me. They made me feel weird. Suddenly, Giriko grabbed my waist. "Soka hold up. We don't need to kill him today."

Giriko turned me around to face him. He lifted my chin and leaned forward. His warm breath tickled my ear as he whispered, "Why don't we find some place nice and relaxing and just sit down for a while. You need to calm down."

I shivered. "I-I..."

"Come on." He murmured and led me away.
