Lame.

And when the night gets dark, and there's no way back, I'll call your name, but it's fading, we're fading; After leaving school for nine months, Fenella is ready to go to high school again.... Just not ready to face her best friend and former crush Calum. What Calum doesn't know is that he's the father of Fenella's baby. When given the chance to raise his child, even though both parents are only 16, the opportunity is taken away when he finds out that Fenella is going out with his now ex-friend Ashton Irwin.

24. Pleas of Hope

Fenella's POV

I walked out of the room, smirking, but feeling a bit guilty. Why.. Why did I kiss him? I'm an idiot.

I put my ear against the door.

"Oh Xander.. I really hope your mommy forgives me. You two have been a main part of my lives for almost this entire you. Well, you only being around 3 months and all, but you get my point." He stopped to giggle. "But really, I love your mommy so much. I'm such an idiot for saying that to her. I promise you, that for now on I'll try to be nicer to your mommy. I'll treat you to grow up and be so much more nicer than what my own daddy taught me. You'll be almost as perfect as your mom." The end sentence had faded into a whisper as he heard me creek the door open.

With Xander in his crib, Ashton's face lit up and he came running towards me, again.

"Oh my god Fenella, please don't be mad at me, I love you so much. You know I didn't mean anything I said. I was just tired and annoyed. Please don't leave me, please." He held onto me tightly.

His pleading was so upsetting. He was like a little puppy when he was like this. His hair would always be messing and his eyes would be seen as darker and full of guilt.

"Ash, Ash, Ash, it's ok. I'm not mad. I forgive you. The fact that you had Calum help you out showed how much you really care, because I know you don't want anything to do with the kid. It's ok, really." He let me loose after the third 'Ash'. Gripping onto my waist gently, he walked the both of us out of the room and he cheered softly. "You're such a child." I commented, smiling.

"I promise you Fenella, I'm going to try to stay as calm as possible while Calum's here. I'll even take those anger management classes you wanted me to take. I'll do anything  to make you happy."
