What happens when Savannah Grace, a teenage girl from a small town in Kansas, is personally flown in to Washington, DC to live with her dad? Well that's what you will find out in this story. The idea is not original. I got the idea from Lindsay (19pierpointl)'s book "bodyguard." This book is on wattpad. Feel free to look at it, I know I enjoyed it. The link for "Bodyguard" is below.

1. Introduction

What happens when Savannah Grace, a teenage girl from a small town in Kansas, is personally flown to Washington, DC to see the president? Well that's what you will find out in this story.

"Mom? Will you tell me more about dad?" Savannah asked. She had never known her dad, for he had left her mother when he found out she was pregnant.
"Another time, honey, I'm going to be late for work!" Her mother replied, shoving a piece of toast into her mouth.
"Oh all right, but I'm expecting a full-blown story when you get home!" Savannah replied as her mother walked out the door.

Savannah Grace, 17, lived with her mother in Satanta, Kansas. The middle of nowhere. She had always lived there. She loved it there. The people that lived there were very nice and polite- at least the adults were. Everybody knew everybody. Her mother, 40, worked at the naval base in Dodge City, Kansas. She drove there everyday at 6 am, and came back at around 10 every night.

At school, they had the popular girls, the nerdy girls. The popular boys, the nerdy boys. And then there was Savannah and her friends. They fit in neither the popular group, nor the nerdy group. They were outcasts. Savannah and her friends, girls and guys, all sat at the same table. The only group that had both genders at the table.

Savannah looked at her clock. "Oh crap! I need to start getting ready!" She said as she ran up to her room. She may not have to do much, but she'd like to look nice for her first day as a senior. She didn't have anybody to impress except her friends, and they wouldn't care if she wore her pj's to school. Savannah put on a denim skirt that went to her knees and a pretty blouse that was blue. Then she went into her bathroom and put on some eyeliner and lip gloss; she was not the kind of girl to wear a lot of makeup. She styled her hair in a bun, leaving out her bangs.

Savannah had her bag packed and was getting ready to pull out of the driveway in her new Cobra to pick up a friend when her cellphone rang; it was an unknown number.
