MatiIsNotOnFire & AmazingAeryn (Dan & Phil FanFic)

When Mati and Aeryn move into a new flat, they least expect to be next door to Dan Howell and Phil Lester. It all kicks off when the girls start playing My Chemical Romance at full volume, drawing the guy's attention. Dan wants to join the party, but Phil isn't so pleased - until he sees Aeryn. The guys are shocked at first, when the girls don't recognise them from YouTube, but then they see it as a way to make genuine friends (or more?;). That is, until Aeryn figures it out, but promises to keep their fame a secret from Mati.
Mati and Dan end up being in the same law class, whereas Phil likes to stalk Aeryn to her job, at the bakery. Mati still doesn't know the boys are famous, even when they participate in some videos, thinking it's 'just a vlog'. But what will happen if she ever finds out they're famous?

2. Getting Ready

Mati's POV

I actually can't believe the most gorgeous guy I'd ever seen has asked me out, we've been in London for about 4 hours and we'd already been asked out. It must have been the lucky bra I put on before we came here, got to be the underwear. Anyway, Aeryn was basically ready for the date and I still wasn't. I'd had a shower and done my make-up, but still wasn't ready. This is why my mum had to sort my school clothes out in the morning, she did everything for me, it's going to be hard doing most things on my own.

"Mati hurry up, it's 6:30 and we're going round at 7," She says, sounding really grumpy.

"Okay, okay. Give me about 10-20 minutes," I plead. She rolls her eyes but then nods, I smile at her slightly then run into my room.

The room is about the same size as Aeryn's, but looks smaller because of all of my things. My bed is over in the far right corner of the room, by the window so the sunlight shines nicely in the room. My dresser is opposite the bed, I walked over to it and pulled out the perfect outfit, or at less I thought so, for the date.

"Dan! Put some freaking clothes on,"  the walls between our flats are thin so I can hear Phil yelling at Dan, I wouldn't mind seeing Dan nude.

I pull out my favourite summer dress, my Gran brought it for me last Christmas. The base of the dress if a nude colour, that way it will match the heels. It has a faded leopard print pattern on the top part of the dress, and the bottom is scattered roses, then in the middle a black, sewn on, belt. I slip out of my joggers and shirt throwing them across the room, then pull the dress over my head and adjust it to my body. I get a hair tie out of my bag and tie my hair in a lose, side fishtail plat. I slip into the nude high heels I was talking about earlier, then grab my bag and leave my room.

"Okay I'm ready," I tell Aeryn.

She looks amazing, I am actually stunned. To start off with her hair is tied in a waterfall plat, it really suited her. Then she has black studded 'peace symbol' earrings, I think I gave those to her for her birthday a few years ago. She's got the gold locket her mum gave her a few months ago, I know that locket means the world to her. It's got a picture of her deceased dog, Daisy. I know it seems silly to have a picture of a dog, but before me, Daisy was her best friend. As for the dress, it was immaculate. It has two parts to it, like my dress. A lovely layer of black lace, it is quite a thick layer, not thick enough so that you can't see her bright purple bra. Although, that might be intentional (A/N: Naughty girl Teri;). As for the bottom half of the dress, it's got a black background with flowers printed all over it. Finally, Aeryn has a pair of black ballet pumps on, it really complements the dress.

"You look amazing," I say to her.

"Thanks Mati," Her accent makes it sounds odd when she says my name, although visa versa. "All right, let's go."

We walk out of our flat, Aeryn locks it and then hands the key to me. I love Aeryn but she's forgetful, she'll lose the key if she kept it for the night. I put it in my bag, then following her to the guy's flat. As we live literally right next to each other, we didn't have to walk far, which was good considering Aeryn and I are the laziest people on the planet. She knocks on the flat's door and Phil opens it looking so happy to see her, of course he would be, Aeryn looks beautiful.

"You look gorgeous," he complements. I can see a redness in Aeryn's cheeks, she shyly looks away from him and does that weird little school girl giggle, trying to act cute. Phil bought it anyway, she reminded me of an anime character look look really retarded, ah well her flirting skills aren't great but she seems really happy.

"You're cute and all Phil, but can you move?" I hear Dan say behind Phil, he's trying to squeeze through the door way, I think Phil is staying there to annoy him. I was laughing under my breath, I can see Aeryn laughing also. When he finally manages to get past, he walks over to me and gazes into my eyes, intense much. I'm socially awkward so I'm glad it's a double date, I'd be screwed if I was alone with him.

"Mati, you look awesome," I blush, I can't be bothered to even pretend I didn't. Aeryn winks at me and I just laugh a little.

"Not so bad yourself," I laugh. Dan smiles at me, a breath taking smile that only he can do. "Where are we going?"

"A Chinese restaurant," Phil says. I can see the awkwardness in Aeryn's face, she hates Chinese food. When Aeryn was about 7 years old, she ate some pork dumplings in a Chinese restaurant and then threw up on the waiter. The guy just yelled at her in Chinese, most likely swearing. Bit of a dick to yell at a kid, you mop up the puke and move on, the guy was probably on his meriod (for those of you who don't know what that is, it's a male period). She hasn't eaten Chinese food since then, probably not going to again.

"Oh, that's a wee little problem," Aeryn says. I start giggling when she says 'wee', Dan does too. She glares at me, then turns back to Phil and carries on. "I... Don't... Like... Chinese."

"That's fine," Phil says, he turns to Dan and I. "You guys can go to the Chinese place, Aeryn and I will go to that new Italian restaurant."

"Okay sure," I say, Dan nods. I rummage through my bag, trying to find my iPhone, only then to remember I left it in my room on charge. "I left my phone inside, Dan can you come with me while I get it?"

"Yeah sure," He doesn't hesitate to answer me, he seems glad actually.

"Right, well use protection Mati. And stay away from my bed," Aeryn jokes, I growl at her and was about to say something but Dan interrupted me instead.

"I can't make any promises on the bed thing," he says, Aeryn looks shocked and Phil just laughs to himself. I am not sure if he's joking. "See you guys in a bit."

"All right, have fun," Phil waves Dan good-bye as I let us into the flat. Aeryn and Phil walk up the corridor chatting away, they're holding hands and look so cute together.

"Sorry about this," I say to Dan.

"No it's fine," He replies. I go into my bedroom, he happily follows me. I yank the charger out of my IPhone and turn around, only to find Dan looking through my dresser.

"Having fun?" I joke. His head whipped round at me, a cute sort of 'I'm sorry' look on his face. A guy I met about 6 hours ago was just a second ago looking through my draw full of bras and panties, he didn't seemed bothered. "Come on," I laugh, closing the draw and tugging on his arm. I practically push him out of the flat, locking it and then putting the key back in my bag as well as my IPhone.

"So 34DD uh?" Dan casual says. I stop dead in my tracks as he carries on walking, probably not noticing I've stopped. He realises and stops walking, only having a cute, smirk on his face.

"Right, well I've got no clue what to say to that," I tell him, feeling slightly embarrassed.

"I'm rather impressed," he says, sounding rather serious.

"Thanks Dan."

"No problem, bubbah," he's being really cute now, even though I'm confused.

"Bubbah?" The tone in my voice pretty much tells him I'm confused.

"I call cute things bubbah, I've been saying it since I was little," He explains. That's so sweet, he gave me a cute nickname.

"You're one special little snowflake aren't you? Since you have a nickname for me, that'll be yours, snowflake. Or snowy for short," I laugh. He didn't object, so must not mind it.

He links his arm through mine and turns to me. "Shall we head off, bubbah?"

I laugh. "Yes we shall, snowy."
