6. Chapter 6

"So where do you wanna eat?" I asked buckling my seat belt. He shrugged.

"You tell me. You live here, you know what's good, right?" He chuckled. I smiled because I already knew a perfect place not too far away.

"Ok, how about my favorite, Steak and Eggs?" I suggested with a grin.

"Sure. I haven't heard of it, but I'm guessing it's pretty good, being your favorite and all." He smiled starting the car. I did a little victory dance in my head. It's not a very big diner, but the food tastes great. Their hash browns are my favorite.

"Do you know how to get there?" He asked. I gave him an of-course-i-do look, and he laughed. He made his way out of the neighborhood then looked at me. "A left turn up here." I pointed. He nodded his head and turned.

"So how long have you lived here in Oklahoma?" He asked.

"Well when my mom was pregnant with me, my dad had gotten a job offer down here. I guess the new house kinda worked out with a baby coming along. Right turn. And I guess I've just been living here ever since."

"Cool. So do you like it down here?"

"Yeah, it's great." I smiled. "But you know, gotta grow up sometime, right?" I sighed. "That's why I'm moving to London. There is a great school down there that I got accepted into, and its perfect." I paused and he nodded. "So how about you? How long have you lived in London for?" I pointed to the right and he chuckled a little.

"I moved up there when I was about seven with my mom and step dad. I just recently moved into an apartment building near by with some of my band mates. It's nice living out with them, they keep me grounded, you know?" He laughed. I laughed a little with him.

"Yeah. Wait, you're in a band?" I giggled. "It's not one of those garage bands with the long hair and weird nicknames, like cheese head, is it?" I teased. He laughed.

"No not at all. We're actually pretty well known, I'm sure you'd like our sound." He smiled. "You'd love the boys too. Promise me you'll come and meet them once you get settled in? They're great." He asked.

"Sure." I smiled. "Oh and the place is right around the corner, it'll be on the left." I pointed. He nodded and pulled into the parking lot. He stopped the car, unbuckled and looked at me. I smiled and unbuckled also.

"So, what about you and Red?" He asked.

   "What about him?" I giggled.

"Are you guys, like, dating or anything?" He wondered. I sighed and looked down. "Oh. I see." he replied looking out the window.

"We're not, but I do really like him. I haven't even met him yet though. I don't even know his real name." I sighed rubbing my hands over my eyes while leaning back in my seat. "Hopefully he doesn't bail on meeting me in London. For all I know, he could just be some catfish." I said removing my hands.

He smiled a little. "Maybe. But you know you gotta be careful with people like that."

"I know, but I've know him for three years now, I feel like I can trust him." His smiled disappeared.

"Yeah, I guess." he sighed. "Just promise me you'll be careful."

"I promise." I smiled. Wow he's so nice. I haven't even known him long, but I think I'm starting to develop a little crush on him. I just hope that's all it is, I don't want to complicate things with Red, if he's real that is.

We hopped out of the car and headed inside. When we were seated to our small booth I ordered an egg, hash browns, bacon, and an English muffin. Harry ordered the same, but with two eggs and toast instead of an English muffin.

When the food got here it looked delicious

"Wow, this is pretty good." Harry smiled taking another bite.

I smiled and nodded taking a bite of my food. "Reminds me of when my mom used to make breakfast for me. Now she barely even cooks." I laughed.

He chuckled a little. "How come?"

I paused and shrugged. "Ever since my dad passed, she just hasn't been the same. She used to be like one of those stay at home moms you see in the movies." I giggled and paused. "But not anymore. She's working twice as hard now, and I don't really get to see her much. Whenever she does come home, it's usually with a new 'boyfriend'. No offence." I smiled lightly. Harry smiled. "None taken."

I mean, I know it's been rough on her and everything, but does she really have to do that? I don't know anymore." I shook my head. Harry placed his hand on mine. I looked up at him and gave him a reassuring smile. "I'm fine. I promise." I paused and thought for a moment.

"Hey, why don't we go and do something fun." Harry suggested with a grin. I nodded my head.

Harry called over for the check and started to pay. "No, Harry I'll get mine." I said pulling out my wallet. "No, that's fine. I've got it." He said handing the money to the lady. I hate it when people pay for me. It makes me feel snooty, and I just overall feel bad about it.

"Ok, but I'll get it next time, deal?" I stated.

He smiled. "So there will be a next time?" He asked slyly as he walked towards the door.

"No- I mean yes- but not- ughh. Never mind." I tried as I followed him out the door. He started laughing.

"So where to next?" he smiled.
