14. Chapter 14

"Thank you." I smile to the cab driver as I hand him his money.

"Of course. Would you like some help with your bags?" He gestured towards my hands.

"No It's ok, but thanks though." I smiled.

He smiled back and nodded. I turned around and made my way to the doors of the apartment.

I tried to open the doors, but my hands were full. I set down a few bags and opened the door, holding it in place with my foot. I quickly picked the bags back up and squeezed through the door.

I made my way to the elevator and clicked the up button. I let my suitcase down as I waited. I heard a ding from the elevator and it opened, revealing a guy with short blonde hair and a white t-shirt.

I think I'm gonna like living here.

"Hello." He smiled as he looked up. "Here let me help you with those." He reached for the two bags in my hand.

I blushed and grabbed my suitcase, joining him in the elevator. "Thank you."

"No problem. So you must be the new neighbor, right?" He asked looking at me.

I pressed my floor number and nodded. "I think so."

He laughed a little. "You know, you look familiar."

I looked up at him and examined his face. "So do you, do I know you from somewhere?"

"I don't think so." He replied.

"Maybe we both just have one of those faces, you know?"  He chuckled.

 "Yeah maybe." I giggled.

The elevator came to a stop and opened. I walked out side, and the guy followed behind me.

"Umm I think it was number 204" I said quietly as I examined the hallways.

"Ahh this way." He pointed down the hall. I followed him until he stopped.

I read the door number: 204

I pulled out my keys and unlocked the door. The elevator guy followed me in, looking around as he placed my bags on the floor.

"I guess I'll just let you get settled in then." He said turning around.

"Oh." He stopped and turned back around.

"I live in the apartment across the hall with a few roomates." He pointed behind him. "If you need anything, your always welcome." He smiled.

 "Thank you." I smiled back.

He nodded and turned around again. "Oh yeah." He said as he turned to face me once again. "Would you like to come over later for dinner? I mean since you probably don't have any groceries or anything yet."

"Sure. Thank you so much." I smiled.

"Of course." He smiled again and walked out and back towards the elevator. I stepped out side the door and leaned up against the frame.

I giggled a little. "Hey, Blondie! I never got your name!" I shouted across the hall.

"Oh." He turned around and looked at me.

"It's Niall! Niall Horan." He smiled.

I nodded and stood up right, about to go back inside.

"Yo blondie!" He mimicked me, jogging back to my door.

 I smiled and faced him.

"I never got your name." He smirked.

 "Alexis. Alexis Covart."
