16. Sixteen.

Kira's P.O.V.

"We're going home." My mom smiled as we were all on the porch, everyone's luggage with them.
"Where's home, mom?" I mumbled, my head raising from Alex's chest.
"Back in Canada, sweetie." She whispered, sighing.

I quickly snuggled further into him, not wanting to know a thing about going back home. I thought about it a couple of weeks ago, I just never imagined which country my parents would qualify as home.

The whole ride to the airport, Alex and I were clinging on each other, not letting a single millimetre between us. He would grip me tighter every time we'd see a sign indicating the airport was close.

"We're here." Zayn sighed, cutting off the engine.

I shuttered at the thought, I was going back home, without him. He entwined our fingers, rubbing soothingly on the back of my hand. Everyone piled out of the car, taking their luggage out of the booth, meaning it was time to leave.

I picked up my duffle bag and threw it over my shoulder, sighing in defeat. We all walked in L.A.X, in a not-so-cheery mood. I was on the verge of depression honestly, Alex and I have grew closer than ever these past few weeks, I didn't want it to end.

"Flight to Ottawa, Canada will now be departing."

My heart literally broke into a thousand pieces. I wrapped my arms around Alex's neck, crying onto his shoulder. His arms tightly wrapped around me, snuggling in my neck, my breath hitching terribly.

"I love you." He whispered.
"I love you too." I sniffed.

He pulled away a little, wiping my tear stained cheeks with his thumbs and kissed me passionately, for what time we had left.

"Last call for the flight to Ottawa, Canada. Now boarding."

I slowly slipped out of his grasp, his hands slipping out of mine. My heart broke even more at his facial expression. Slowly turning around, I walked away, not daring to look back at his heartbreaking expression, but before walking in the tunnel, I couldn't help but look back. Everyone was watching us, I blew him a kiss, which made him smile softly.

Walking in the plane felt like I was dying, I sat down next to a girl, who reminded me a lot of Delilah. She had pretty curves, blonde hair and pale skin. I clipped my seatbelt, sighing loudly, almost starting to cry.

"Need a hug?" I heard her australian accent, which made my gaze snap towards the girl next to me.

It was indeed Delilah, which made me hug her so damn tight, like there was no tomorrow. She's the best friend anyone could ever wish for, and I count myself lucky being the one to deserve her as a friend.

"You know, I just finished reading Winger by Andrew Smith." She stated out of no where. "They killed Joey! That son of a bitch Casey Palmer and his little fucker of a friend Nick are so gonna here from me."

(A/N: THE BOOK IS SO FREAKING ADDICTING! It's really good! :D)

"You know none of it is real, right?" I chuckled.
"I'm going to mess up that story by transporting myself in it." She smirked. "I so will knock some sense into Ryan Dean, okay sorry. You don't know what the hell I'm talking about."

I laughed quietly at her, she always knew how to cheer me up. I didn't even think I'd be able to laugh in this situation, but most of all, what the hell is she doing on a plane to Canada? Why isn't she back in London?

"What are you doing here?" I asked her as the plane was finally high in the air.
"Well, since my parents don't actually give a damn about me." She trailed. "They let me move in with you, and we'll have our own apartment, we all know how my parents like throwing money, well here's some necessary."
"That's so damn cool." I stuttered.

For the rest of the ride, we had awkward conversation subjects, which is quite what she was aiming for, to try and distract me from reality. But we all knew that sooner or later, it would come in, and I knew she was dying to know more.

"Shoot, D. I know you're dying to." I chuckled.
"You know how you told me you were sick lately?" She asked hesitantly.
"Yeah..." I trailed, raising my eyebrows, confused.
"Have you and Alex..." She said awkwardly. "Uh, did something?"

My breathing hitched, my gaze snapping towards her. She had that innocent look on her face, meaning she was hesitant about the subject. And let me tell you, it sure as hell was.

"Uh... yeah." I coughed.
"Haven't you thought about.... ya know... being pregnant." She whispered the last part.
"I can't be!" I hissed. "We were in Rio, and I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be possible."
"Did you... protect?" She raised her eyebrows.
"Uh... no."

And it hit my like a ton of bricks, there's a possibility, that I'm pregnant, with a boy whose who knows how many miles away from me. A possibility. I started worrying like a dumb ass, thinking if we had actually been careful, none of this would've happened.

"Let's worry about it when we get back to the apartment." I sighed, my mind drifting to the worst scenarios.

New apartment, Toronto.

"Do you have it?" I asked shakily.

She nodded, smiling sadly. She handed me the pregnancy test, my hands shaking as if I had the Parkinson, taking the small box. I went to the bathroom. Doing what I had to do, I then opened the do, and leaned against the sink. I closed my eyes, and breathed deeply.

"The result's there." Delilah stated quietly.
"Tell me."

"You're..."
