Truth Or Dare

We all sat in a circle, alcohol in our hands. We were probably too drunk to care about anything in the world. "Louis, truth or dare?" my friend Ben asked. "Dare." I said with no hesitation. "Oh, trying to be brave, huh? Fine, I dare you to kill the girl." he said

1. Chapter One

Rachel's P.O.V.

I zipped up my coat as I walked down the snowy sidewalk for my first day in Doncaster. I had just moved here yesterday from Denver, Colorado. My mom was looking for a new job and got an amazing opportunity here.

Walking down the hall wasn't as bad as I thought. The halls in my old school were crowded and loud, but here they were a little less loud and more organized. It was simple; you walk on the left and only stop if you're going to a locker. That was, until someone decided to stop in the middle of the hall, disobeying the hallway rules. I was in no mood to mess around or be late to my first class.
"Hurry up you can talk later!"

The four boys turned to face me.

"Who are you?"

"None of your business, now get out of my way! I don't want to be late!"

"Are you new?"

I sighed, feeling defeat. I might as well talk the bell already rang.

"Yes, now I really need to get to class."

"I don't think so."

"Excuse me? You aren't in charge of me. Who do you think you are? My mother?"

    The boys looked surprised.

"Listen, since your new you can have a warning. But you better knock off the attitude towards us. You don't want to mess with us. We can make your life a living hell."

"Oh, yeah. Threaten me all you want, I'm not concerned at all."

Apparently that was the wrong thing to say?

"That's it. You were warned. I suggest you watch your back."

"I don't need to. But thanks."

I pushed around the boys and kept going down the hall.

"I can't believe you actually did that!"

I turned to see a girl walking up next to me.
"I'm not scared of them."

"They can ruin you."

"I'll be the judge of that. They don't scare me."

"Fine, but don't say I didn't warn you."

"I won't. But I really have to go."

    I continued walking.

"Hey, one more thing."

    I stopped and turned around.

"There's a party tonight. Yes, it's at Louis' house, but he throws good parties. I'll bring you as my guest if you want?"

I thought about this. I do need to get some friends. And it wouldn't hurt to get out of the house.

"Sure."

"Cool, meet me at lunch by the doors. I'll give you my number, oh and by the way I'm Sasha."

"I'm Rachel."

"Nice name. See you at lunch!"

I kept walking until I found the science room. Science has always been my favorite. Every one stared as I walked over to the teacher.

"Hi, I'm Rachel Brown. I'm new and I had a little trouble finding the room."

"Hello, I'm Mrs. Hejl. I won't count you tardy since you were only lost. But you may sit over there, by Ben. Ben, please wave so Rachel knows who you are."

I looked up to see one of the idiot boys from the hall. I grunted and went to take my seat.

"Okay, class please take out your journals, we're taking notes!"

Everyone groaned, including me. I love science, but notes just don't get along with me. We began copying from the bored, when Ben slid a paper on my desk. Apparently he wanted to chat.

You're a real pain in my ass, you know that?

I rolled my eyes and wrote back.

Don't stop in the middle of the hall. There wouldn't have been a problem.

I quickly caught up with the notes on the bored, but again, the paper reappeared.

I don't know who you think you are, but you don't want to get on our bad side.

I sighed, what does he not understand?

For the last time, I'm not afraid of you or your idiot friends.

You will regret not listening to us.

Sure, whatever you say tough guy.

After that the bell rang and I put my note book and pen away. The next thing I know, water is all over my shirt.
"I warned you. And that was only the start."

"You think you're so badass spilling water on me? It will dry, fool."

"Like I said, that was only the start."

And with that he walked away, probably quiet proud of himself. But he won't know what hit him. I wasn't joking when I said I was not afraid of him.

At lunch, I looked over to see Sasha by the doors. She smiled and waved. I waved back and walked over to her.
"So how were you're first classes?"

"They were alright."

"Good, so here's my number. I'm borrowing my dad's car, want me to pick you up?"

"I have my own car if you'd rather I pick you up."

"Wow, you're lucky. Sure that'd be great, then I can give you the address."

    I nodded.
"I'll text you my address after school. I'll see you later."

She walked away leaving me alone for the rest of the long day.
