DELILAH *Sequel*

I guess I'm not the daughter that they expected to have. Oh well.
My mother (the only person in this world that defends me) was diagnosed with lung cancer just a few months ago, and none of us even want to think about how much longer she has. My older sister, Minnie, just went off to college, and without daddy's little princess in the house, he gets mad about everything and anything. He hates the love of my life, my friends, my job and all the other things in my life that I love.
Oh, and I forgot to mention, my father is Harry Styles... Right?

Part II to MINNIE (A Harry Styles Fan-fiction)

7. Seven

"What's wrong, love?" Kevin asked, raising my chin with his thumb.

"Nothing." I fumbled with my hands in my lap and pouted. We were sitting in the ice cream parlor, dipping into our cups.

"Don't lie to me, baby. You don't have to," he told me, putting his hand on my upper thigh. His chuckle led me to smile a bit.

"I don't wanna talk about it."

"You sure?"

"Yes, I'm sure, Kev." he pushed my hair back and sighed.

"I like your makeup like that." he stated.

"I'm not wearing any..." he rose his eyebrows, and I hit his shoulder in his successful attempt to make me grin. "You're such a goofball." I reminded him.

"The best goofball in the whole dang world." he laughed, and kissed my ear. That's the thing about Kevin, he looks so intimidating. Yet, he isn't scary one bit. It's kinda funny actually.

"I found out that my dad isn't my real dad." I blurted, not expecting the words to tumble out so fast.

"What?" he asked in disbelief.

"Some guy showed up at my house and told me that he was my father and then my dad got into it and my mum left the room to be ill, and-and-"

"Shh.... No tears, Dee." Kevin hugged me, staring harshly at the people passing who were looking our way. "Where did he come from?"

"I haven't got a clue. He just knocked on my door. Dad nearly killed him."

"He sounds... Wait, he didn't touch you, did he?"

"No, I was fine. But he is. He's my real father."

"I'm sorry, Beautiful. Well, what did Harry say?"

"He told me that William wasn't actually my father because he didn't go to my kickball games or change my diapers."
"William? That's the guy?" I nodded, and he nervously stood as my tears began to pour out again. "Lets um, go outside." He threw our trash away and led me to his motorcycle. I sat with my legs hung over one side.

"And he-what he did to-mmy mom. My mom."

"Shhh.... its okay."

"It's not okay, Kevin. He raped her." I sobbed, falling against his leather jacket. His warm hand comforted my back as I slowly weaped.

"I-I I don't know what to say, Dee. I'm so sorry. But you know its not your fault, right?"

"Its the reason why he always treated Minnie differently. Better. And why she always gets what she wants. And why he calls me pumpkin."

"Huh?" Kevin mumbled. I felt like fainting after pouring my heart out. "No, no, babe. Its not why. He loves you. If he didn't, the he wouldn't have stuck around to be a dad to you." I wiped my face and gave him a small nod.

I was distracted by a loud giggle. Violet Folker and her cheer squad came strolling through the parking lot, their pompoms in hand. Her eyes were locked on Kevin's and he knew it. I steamed as she used her teeth to bite her lower lip, and I noticed the tint in his cheeks. She's beautiful, I know. Blonde hair, golden eyes, and stained pink lips. Any guy would get bashful around her. But not my guy. He's never looked at another girl, ever. I was always his one and only.

I remained calm and cleared my throat gently, just loud enough for him to hear. He snapped out of it as the girls entered the shop, and handed me a helmet. All I could do was swing my leg over and sigh as he started the bike.

I couldn't handle all of this drama.
