DELILAH *Sequel*

I guess I'm not the daughter that they expected to have. Oh well.
My mother (the only person in this world that defends me) was diagnosed with lung cancer just a few months ago, and none of us even want to think about how much longer she has. My older sister, Minnie, just went off to college, and without daddy's little princess in the house, he gets mad about everything and anything. He hates the love of my life, my friends, my job and all the other things in my life that I love.
Oh, and I forgot to mention, my father is Harry Styles... Right?

Part II to MINNIE (A Harry Styles Fan-fiction)

9. Nine

Mom said that my grandmother (her mom) lives in Germany. That's where she lived before I was born. A city called Jena, I think.

I got on a train and traveled for six hours until I finally met my destination. Luckily I kept my credit card in my bra, so I had money to actually eat something so I wouldn't pass out. This city was different, older. I liked it.

I knew one thing for sure. I wasn't here to look for my grandma. I'd never even met her before. I wanted to see William again, and see if he wanted me. Maybe we could live together and I could go to school here and make new friends. And Kevin could come down on weekends. And I could have the father daughter relationship I've always yearned for.

"Excuse me, do you know a man named William?" I asked a woman at the front desk that belonged to a bank.

"Well, there's many chaps named William in this city. But none here. The gentleman who mends my car is called William. You may want to try his shop down the road called Greasy's."

"Oh, good. Thank you." I nodded at her and smiled gratefully.

"Good luck, darling."

"William?" I tapped the man's shoulder and he swung around to meet my matching blue eyes.

"What are you doing here, Delia?"

"It's Delilah."

"That's what I said." he dropped his gloves to the floor and wiped his hands on his blue jumper. "Now, what are you doing here at my shop?"

"I just... thought I'd come to see you. I remember how you said you wanna get to know me and stuff. Well, here's your chance."

"Hmm. Okay. Let's go get a bite to eat."

We drove in his brown mustang to a diner, where we ordered a plate of fries to share and chocolate milkshakes. "You're pretty. Like me." he joked, shoving a potato in his mouth.

"Thank you." I played with my straw. "Listen, I kinda need a place to stay, because I'm planning on being here a while."

"Really? Well you can stay at my place if you'd like."

"That sounds... great, actually. Thanks."

"No problem, sweetheart. I hope we can have a fresh start." he smiled at me, showing his straight teeth.

"Yeah... Me too." he hugged me then. A strange, awkward embrace. But it was warm. And that's really the only thing I need right now.
