DELILAH *Sequel*

I guess I'm not the daughter that they expected to have. Oh well.
My mother (the only person in this world that defends me) was diagnosed with lung cancer just a few months ago, and none of us even want to think about how much longer she has. My older sister, Minnie, just went off to college, and without daddy's little princess in the house, he gets mad about everything and anything. He hates the love of my life, my friends, my job and all the other things in my life that I love.
Oh, and I forgot to mention, my father is Harry Styles... Right?

Part II to MINNIE (A Harry Styles Fan-fiction)

15. Fifteen

We stood there, staring at the stone. Cold and abandoned. I looked to my right and saw a tear slip from Dad's eye. He quickly sniffled and grabbed my hand. I bit my lip, glancing at the flower that Minnie just dropped a few moments ago. This place was so sad, gloomy. I felt like going insane.

Mom fell to her knees. And Dad watched her cautiously as she crawled to my baby brother's tombstone. She looked zoned out while she traced the seven letters of his name. Today would be his 5th birthday, we come every year. Mom was released from the hospital after crying and begging the doctor to let her leave. It didn't take much.He said as long as she continued with her meds and followed his diet that she should be fine for a while.

"My baby boy." she whispered. Dad choked, slapping his hands over his face. He walked away, feeling overwhelmed with emotions. I watched his moves as he opened the car door parked in the street, and slammed it hard. He punched the side, but not hard enough to leave a dent. I had the urge to follow him, so I did.

"What? Go over- go to your mother. Go- just-" he ran his long fingers through his hair and took a moment to weep into the sleeve of his jacket. Leaned against the car, he refused to turn his face to me. And I realized that my dad is just an ordinary person. He has feelings and worries and he's made mistakes. But so have I,and the next person. I've been going at him for years, and ignoring all of this crap that everyone's been telling me. But it's true. All he wants is whats best for me. I am his daughter and he cares for me beyond words.

It's almost like he was reading me thoughts. Because he opened his mouth. "Delilah, I don't want you to ever think that I don't love you. I know that I yell at you and we bicker like bloody brother and sister but I just- I worry about you so much. And I don't want you to end up being a screw up from watching me all your life."

"Dad, you're not a screw up." I opened his arms and hugged him tight, and he sniffled into my shoulder. "I know you love me. And I'm sorry for being such a spoiled brat." he shook his head as he pulled away. "It was only making things harder. For everyone."

He paused for a moment, and grinned. A hopeful grin. "My baby girl is growing up." he kissed my forehead and gave me another squeeze. Then we walked back to the rest of the family. Minnie was trying to comfort Mom awkwardly, and let Dad take over. She had stopped crying and was just sitting there, blank. Just like every year.

But I knew we were gonna be okay. Because we always are.

(So Stella is okay. And Delilah and Harry are good now.)

Bradley. A unique love story.

Blurb: The heartthrob that doesn't know he's a heartthrob. The guy that never leaves the fine arts hall. The christian that goes to church three times a week. The senior with the burning blue eyes.
Stop, I've gotta keep my eye on the prize. But...
He's a virgin that has me under a spell.
He's Bradley.
