11. The Letter

Ron was still ignoring Hermione, as soon as she walked into the dormitory Ron got up and walked off.
"Don't worry, he will get over it." Harry sighed, he was reading Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, he guessed he should start revising as Snape had set them a test.
"I know" Hermione sat down next to Harry. She looked over at Harry, he was trying to find out about a Lobalug.
"Harry, a Lobalug is found at the bottom of the North Sea. It's ten inches long-"
"Hermione, I can find out all on my own you know." Harry gave a small smile to Hermione.
"Page fifty-one" Harry looked at her and flicked his book to the page, he looked to the bottom and found the description:
M.O.M Classification XXX
The Lobalug is found at the bottom of the red sea.
It is a simple creature, ten inches long, comprising a rubbery spout and a venom sac, blasting the attacker with poison. Merpeople use the Lobalug as a weapon and wizards have been known to extract its poison for use in potions, though this practice is strictly controlled.

Harry copied down the information to his notes and packed away his quill and parchment.
"Come on lets go to breakfast." Hermione nodded and followed Harry out of the portrait. When they walked into the great hall the first thing Hermione saw was Ron and Lavender kissing, she didn't pretend it didn't hurt her because it did, but all of that faded away when she looked over to the Slytherin table and saw Draco, he looked up and saw her looking at him and gave her a wink, he looked around the table to make sure no one had seen, luckily no one did. Hermione and Harry sat down next to Ginny. Ginny looked up and saw Harry, for the first time Hermione had ever seen, Ginny didn't blush.
"Why aren't you sitting with Ron?" Ginny asked. But before Harry or Hermione could answer an owl dropped a letter in front of Hermione. Hermione opened it, inside it read:

Same time, Same place...

Hermione looked up, she had no idea who had sent it, but then she realized.
