27. 27. Life or Death Part 4/4

James's POV:

We walked to the platform. Let me make this short. The fourth platform was just the door. We found Quinn and went out the door. See I made it short.

"How long have you been standing back there?" Allie asked.

"Few hours. They gave me cookies and milk." Quinn said.

"Let's go home and solve this once in for all." Jack said. We found a car and got in.

"Does any one know who to drive?" Jack asked. We stared at him.

"Your the oldest. Do you even know how to drive?"

"Yes. . . sorta." He said slowly. He started the car and drove.

************

"Can this go any faster?" Devin asked.

"Stop saying that, Devin." Jack said still driving. A grin went on Devin's face. Then he started saying "Can this go any faster?" The car stopped. We were in front of a diner. Allie got out.

"Anyone hungry?" Our stomach growled.

"That is a yes then." We went inside and Allie payed for the hot dogs.

"Why can't I get a hamburger?" I asked.

"I have less money and the hotdog is cheaper here." She said. While we ate people were staring at us. I bet they are thinking. Why are there kids here? We finished and went back in the car.

"Can we walk." I asked. They agreed. It was just the five of us walked down the path, back to Riverbank Hedge.
