3. So close....

A blood red skull as an artefact? Why the hell would he want her to get that? She didn't care much or even at all. All she cared about was getting her debt paid off. Who cares about what she had to steal to get it? She thought through all of this as she washed in the shower, she spent a fair while examining the bruises she had received today. She stepped out of the shower and got a towel to cover her modesty as she went to pick out her clothes. She decided on jeans, a casual top and a tight leather jacket. Looking good -she thought- was more important than practicality. All she had to do was slip into some rich guy's mansion, grab the artefact and slip out again. Simple, easy, unproblematic.

She climbed onto her motorbike and set of to the place the hooded bloke had described. It took her nearly an hour to arrive at the massive mansion and it took her breath away. It was literally huge. The large dark building had a very eerie feel to it. Whoever lived here was not a nice person. That much was plain. She left her bike in the dark woods near the house and snuck up to the back door. It was unlocked. That was strange. They must be very confident that no one would break in... That worried her a lot. She slipped in silently and looked around, there was no one nearby so she crept further into the room. She closed her eyes as she remembered where he had said the skull was.  the first floor. She crept into the main hall and climbed the stairs. Oblivious to the pair of bright red eyes following her on the roof.

She finally came to the room hooded bloke had mentioned. In the centre of the room on a pedestal lay the Blood red skull. She snuck over and picked it up. She was proud to have not come across anyone and plastered a smug smirk over her face. As she turned around however she saw the pair of red eyes in the doorway. She paused for a moment before cursing. "You've got to be FUCKING kidding me"....
