Sparks Fly

It's Kylie's first year in England, and also at their Highschool. She came from America, so everything is different than what she is used to. She runs into people that end up being her best friends, and some of her worst nightmares. She isn't what would be considered very popular, so when someone comes and takes her under their wing, everything will finally change for her, but is that a good thing? What will her parents think of him? Will his bad boy name rub off on her?

7. Choose

I woke up to the sound of a text message on my phone.

(Harry) "Hey, I'm downstairs, where are you?"

I looked at the time and widened my eyes. I jumped out of bed, and raced to my closet. I found a black sweater with white writing on it that said, "Sweater weather is better weather." and threw that on over my black tank top. I took of the shorts I was sleeping in, and found some dark blue skinny jeans, and wiggled into them. I put my knee-high black converse on, laced them up, then went to my mirror. I Put my hair in a messy mid-high bun, and since I didn't have much time, I quickly put on a little mascara, and some red lipstick for a pop of color to my outfit. I opened my jewelry box, and found some matching red rose earrings, and necklace, and quickly put those on too. After I did a few quick touch-ups to my hair, I raced downstairs to see Harry sitting at the kitchen table, talking to my mum and dad. They were laughing about something they were showing Harry. It was an old video of me, as a toddler singing "Hit Me Baby One More Time" By Brittney Spears in nothing but a diaper. Harry looked up at me as I walked in. "Awe! You were so cute!!!" He giggled. "Awe hunny, I hope you don't mind. We were just talking about how you loved music and stuff, and one thing led to another..." My mum smiled at me. I blushed. Hard. "Uh, Harry. I think it's time to go to school." I said, hurrying him. "ok,ok." Harry said, standing up, then shaking out his messy hair. He looked super hot while doing it. I pushed the thought out of my head quickly. "I'll be in the car. Don't be too long." Harry said, walking out the door. I grabbed my lunch from my mum. "He's cute." My mum whispered to me. "Mum! Really?" I said, before rushing out the door so she didn't see me blush. I opened the car door. "You ready?" He asked, starting up the car. "Ready as I'll ever be." I answered back, putting my stuff over my shoulder into the backseat. He was watching me. "Hey, I like your shirt. It reminds me of the song." He started singing the first part of the chorus before I joined in. "It's to cold for you here, now so let me hold both your hands, in the holes of my sweater."  We both laughed. "Hey we sounded pretty good. " Harry said, giving me a cheeky smile. "Yeah, I guess we did." I smiled back. "You know, that might just be our song for choir!!!" He said with excitement. I widened my eyes. "Yes! It's perfect!!! We can tell Liam and Perrie about it at lunch!" I said with equal excitement. I loved the song, and I was glad I chose to wear this sweater today. We pulled into the spot where Harry normally parks, and as we got out of the car, everyone was watching us. And I mean everyone. Even the teachers. I heard these girls whisper, "Why was she in his car?" and "I bet she paid him." I rolled my eyes at them and grabbed my stuff. Harry met me on my side of the car, and waited. "Are you ready?" He asked, waiting. "Yeah" I said, closing my door so he could lock his car. We walked side by side to homeroom, as people watched us. I don't even see the big deal about walking with him. He is just another person. Sure, he was strikingly hot, but that didn't mean I was with him, or that people should stare. As we walked into homeroom, I saw Niall in his normal seat, and Jade where Hailey used to be. He looked happy with her, so I didn't mind that she was in her seat. Harry's seat was open, but someone was in mine. She had super dark, long brown hair with the tips of her hair an emerald green that matched her eyes perfectly. She just gave me an evil smile as we came closer. Harry noticed her too. "Marie, what are you doing here?" Harry asked. My eyes widened. "You know her?" I whispered quietly. He nodded. "Oh, hi Harry. Wasn't expecting me huh?" She asked, fluttering her eyelashes at him, which made me want to hit her in the face. I don't know why I wanted to hit her. It's not like I owned Harry. I shook it off. "No. I wasn't. But you are in the wrong seat." Harry said, not changing his tone. "Oh, really? I don't see anyones name on it."  She said. "It's her spot. She has been sitting here all year." Harry said, pointing at me. I stood quietly beside him. "Well, I got here first. If she wanted this seat so bad, she should have gotten here earlier." She smirked. Harry mumbled something under his breath that I couldn't hear, before taking my hand and leading me to the other side of the classroom, where there where two empty seats. I sat to his right. "What's her problem?" I asked him. He sighed. "Before you came to this school, Marie and I..... dated. We dated all the way through Sophomore year. Then in the summer, her family decided to move, so we broke it off early in the summer. I was crushed for a while. Then I got a call from her, about mid-summer. She told me that she was... Pregnant. And she said that it was mine. I believed her for a while, until I remembered that I never even did her. Then that really pissed me off. She tricked me. After that I was glad she moved. I never wanted to see her again. Now she is back." Harry explained. A hard look on his face. I looked over at her. "Wait. If she was pregnant and had a baby, why is she in school, and why is she still so thin?" I asked, noticing her flat stomach and long, skinny legs. "She never HAD the baby. She got an abortion." Harry said in disgust. I cringed. I didn't agree with that. It wasn't fair to the human growing inside you. If you don't was a baby, either A. Protect yourself, or B. don't do it. I sighed. the rest of class crawled by very slowly, as well as the rest of my classes before lunch. I hurried to my spot next to Liam and sat down. Harry wasn't here yet.  I looked down to open my lunch. "hey, where's Haz?" Louis asked. I looked up. "I have no clue." I answered. Ten minutes later, Harry sat down on his seat and looked angry. "What happened?" We all asked. He sat there for a while, thinking about what he was going to say. "Marie happened." He answered, before quickly storming out of the lunch room. "Harry wait-" I said, as I got up to go after him. Liam caught my wrist and pulled me back down. "Let him go. He needs to blow off some steam." Liam said calmly. I nodded. Lunch was practically silent at our table after that. Drama class ended, then we finally made our way to choir. Harry wasn't in there yet, but Liam was. I took my spot next to him and waited for the bell. Harry walked in at the last possible second and hurried to his seat. "Ok, class. Get with your groups and make a final selection on your song choice. You have five minutes." The choir teacher said, before going into her office. Perrie and Harry made their way over to us, but Harry seemed a little out of it, so I just told them our plan. "Ok, so on our way to school this morning, Harry and I had the plan of doing 'Sweater Weather.' you are both familiar with the song, right?" I asked. They both nodded. "So, that's are song?" I asked again. "Yeah, I'm fine with it as long as Liam is." Perrie said, looking at Liam. "Yeah, I'm cool with it." Liam answered. "Ok, good." I said, before we were all called back to our seats. "Ok, let's start with you four, up there. What's you're song?" She asked, pointing to the group in the far right corner. There was three boys and a girl. "Uhm, I think we decided on 'Royals' She will have most of the main parts, and we will take a few solos too." One of the boys answered. The choir teacher nodded, and wrote it down on her clip board. She asked two more groups after them, then made her way to our side of the class."Ok, how about.... You guys? Harry?" She asked. Harry looked up from his daydream. "Uhm, We decided on Sweater Weather." He said quickly. Everybody whined. They all wanted that song, but we took it. The teacher nodded, and wrote it down on her sheet. "Ok, how about you, up there?"She asked, pointing to a group in the middle. "well, we were going to do 'Sweater Weather', but they just took it." A lot of other groups nodded and agreed. The teacher sighed. "Ok, the rest of you who I didn't get, which is all of...... four groups, I will get your song tomorrow, and just in case, have two or three back-ups,so this doesn't happen again all of you spread out and find a different place to practice. We only have about five to seven minutes until the bell, so make the most of it. Bring your stuff, so you can leave when school is over." She went back into her office, and we all spread out. We took an empty hallway, and started splitting up parts. After we split up the parts, which took two of our minutes, Perrie had to leave to pick something up from English class, and Harry went to get a drink of water, which left me and Liam. "Ok, look. Now that we are alone, I can finally talk to you. Remember when I asked you if you like me? and you said that you didn't know? Well i've been thinking about it, and I... I like you. And I want to change that I don't know, into a yes." Liam said, as he started leaning in closer to me. I started freaking out. Right before we met, I heard a voice. "What do you think you are doing?" Harry's low voice rang out. Liam backed off. "I was just trying to convince her into liking me, like I like her." Liam said, blushing. I looked at Harry. "Well, how do you know I don't like her?" Harry shot back. "Well, then let her pick." Liam said. Harry made his way over to me, and looked me in the eyes. "Yeah. you have to choose before we rip each others heads off." Harry said, looking from me to Liam, then back to me. "Uhm..." I looked between both of them. I liked both of them, but for very different reasons. But I knew who I was going to choose. but I didn't want to loose the other one as a friend. I looked both of them in the eyes again. Liam's soft playful brown eyes made him look so adorable, but Harry's vivid green eyes made him look stunning, especially with is brown hair. "I Choose...." Then the bell rang, and I ran.
