1. Meeting the Hooches

They had arrived. The owls were there. They had traveled across the ocean, all the way to our private island in Miami, Florida from Hogwarts. (Yes, we are rich.) One for their 4th year sister, and one for each of the twins, Charlotte and Skylar. They both opened them at the same time. Charlotte couldn't wait to get to Hogwarts and get sorted. Her mom, Rolanda went to Hogwarts and turned out to be a flying professor at Hogwarts , but her dad, Paul, got sorted into Gryffindor at Hogwarts. Their older sister, Scarlett began to fill them in on Hogwarts, as they had asked so many times before. She had gotten sorted into Hufflepuff, and they had one little brother, Ryan, who would be attending next year. Mum glanced at the school supplies list. "Well, it looks like we're due for a trip to Diagon Alley."

Because of their bedheads, Skylar had quickly twisted her auburn hair into a braid, and Charlotte spun her blond hair into a bun. (They're fraternal twins.) They had never been to Diagon Alley before. Usually whenever Scarlett went shopping for books, dad stayed home with the rest of us. "We would fly, but as that'd be over the ocean, we decided to use floo powder," announced dad. Our family played quidditch outside a lot, so we were all pretty good. Scarlett's even a chaser.

"Scarlett first, then," mum said. Scarlet walked over to the fireplace, grabbed a pinch of floo powder and threw it into the giant fireplace in their mansion.

"WOAH!" Ryan nearly yelled. He had not seen it happen much, so he was always amazed by it. Scarlet stepped into flames (accompanied by another yelp from Ryan) and yelled,"DIAGON ALLEY!" The rest of the family besides Mum followed in the same suit, Sam clearly having way to much fun with the powder. Mum grabbed the lists and finally went through.
