5. HE'S A PSYCO!

The next morning arrives and I'm still thinking about what happened at Mr Tomlinson's last night. The fear that filled my body was a huge shock, the guy was so overpowering and in a way quite scary. But yet, so gorgeous that it was practically unbelievable. Wait. Maddie, shut up.

Before I know it I'm at college and it's already lunch. I find Joe sitting on a bench and go and join him, we talk, have a laugh and he asks me how last night went. I tell him making sure to avoid the incident with 'Tommo', although he would probably find it quite amusing. Soon enough the bell rings and it's time for my last class which also goes by fairly quick and then I find myself making the walk home drag out for as long as possible again.

About ten minutes pass and I reach my street minding my own business as I walk alone. Until a large black vehicle pulls up on the side of the road in front of me and HE gets out. When I see him my pace quickly speeds up and I try to keep my head down as I pass his car. Relief caresses my body as I walk and the guy is now behind me. But that was a big mistake. He suddenly grabs my wrist pulling me back and pushing me against the still warm vehicle beside us. Too nervous to move I don't fight back as his strong body pins me against the metal and his head begins to lean in toward the side of mine. My heart is now racing as I begin to struggle but his grip tightens on both my wrists and he pushes me harder onto the car with his hips.

"Boo." He whispers into my ear and his breath against my skin sends shivers around my body. The towering guy then chuckles, lets me go and walks up the pathway to his house. Still leaning against the vehicle it takes me a few moments to get myself together before I make my way up the drive to my own house.

When I am inside I drop my bag by the door and head into the kitchen where I don’t even realize my mum is standing in. I slowly trundle over to the cupboard getting myself a cup and then to the sink where I fill it with water.

"Maddie. You're supposed to be next door." My mother’s stern voice wakes me from my shocked daze.

"I-I can't." I mumble as I take a sip of water then empty the rest down the drain.

"What did you say?" My mum asks.

"I can't go." I say in a slightly louder voice.

"Maddie." She replies her voice stern again.

"Mum I can't! HE'S A PSYCHO!" I begin to shout as my body is filled with a million mixed emotions.

"Mr Tomlinson is no psycho!" I can now sense the anger building in my mother’s voice as she crosses her arms in front of me.

"Not him! His son!" I grunt as my patience begins to fade.

"Madison Mathews you will go around to that house right now and you will not say anything like that about such a sweet boy ever again!" She screams at me as she fiercely points towards the door.

"You have no idea!" I reply in a strop as I storm back out of the house. Why is it that parents never believe anything you say? EVER. For all I know he could take me into the woods and kill me! Ok, a little over dramatic but I bet she would still say he was a 'sweet boy' then too. So, annoying. Now I have no idea what I'm going to do. At the moment I'm just sitting here on the street contemplating whether or not to go. Well, I guess I'll have to at some point...
