When Liam finds the girl of his dreams, she stops him dead in his tracks. She's perfect. Long blonde hair, brown eyes, a pretty smile. There's only one thing stopping him from getting to know her better; she doesn't talk. When her mother and younger sister passed away, Ashton fell into a deep depression that she never quite got out of. She didn't want to talk to anyone about what happened; especially not the therapists her grandparents signed her up for. So, she didn't. She vowed not to talk about the accident ever again. Can Liam find a way to bring out the voice that was buried with Ashton's mom and sister?

10. 10.

After a while of conversing with Liam's friends (which consisted of me smiling at them shyly), Liam suggests he'll get us some drinks. I nod and kiss him on the cheek. He goes to get the drinks and his friends disappeared, so I'm standing alone. Apparently, some dark-haired, tall man thinks it's okay to saunter over to me and grab me by the hand. I try to pull away but he tugs harder and drags me to the dance floor. He spins me around and puts his hands on my hips. As he does, I try to push him away, but he grabs my arms and wraps them around him.

"What do you say we," he pauses and points to the door, "get out of here?" I shake my head no and start to look for Liam. "I'm not hearing a no," he smirks, roughly pulling my chin so I face him. I whimper. "Come on, girl," he purrs, sliding an arm around my waist and guiding me to the door. I push at him but he doesn't budge. He's a good five inches taller than me and pretty muscular.

I might've found him attractive if he wasn't trying to get in my pants right now.

"Hey!" Liam pushes through a few people and comes to my rescue. "What in the hell do you think you're doing with my girlfriend?" He asks the burly man. My eyes widen and I smile at Liam while reaching my hand out to him. He pulls me away from the strange man's hold. I sink into him as he gives me a hug.

"Man, I don't see your name on her," the guy retorts. Liam scoffs. "In fact, she didn't even mention you," he smirks.

"She doesn't have to say a word to you, you inconsiderate douche," Liam counters. A few people have gathered to see what's happening. The man laughs.

"If she wanted you, wouldn't she say that?" Now he turns to me. "Come on, sweetie, who do you want? Pretty boy over here?" He waves his arm in Liam's direction. "Or me?" he suggests, stepping closer to me. Liam pulls me closer to him in defense. "Tell me, girly." I point to Liam. The man chuckles. "Fine, but you're missing out on all of this," he says, turning around and walking away. A few laughs came from the small audience we had, now dissipating. Everybody returns to their own business and after a minute, Liam backs away from me and grabs my hands in his.

"So, what I said earlier," Liam mutters, looking at the floor.  "Do you want to? You know, be my girlfriend?"
