5. Chapter 5

I got ready by dancing to I Wish by Cher Lloyd. I loved her so so much. Naturally singing along to it, but of course was asked to shut up by my brother. I quickly bathed, applied some natural makeup and picked out my outfit. I picked out a cute white dress that flows to my knees, a green leather jacket. I paired it with some wedges, white earrings, some bracelts and finally, an howl necklace. I grabbed an apple on the way out the door and met up with the girls.

It was kind of a tradition for us to buy coffee and some cakes for lunch. We couldn't bare eat the school cafeteria, it was horrendous. When we got to school, it felt different. Usually we would be ignored, or 'invisible', but this time I felt confident. Anyway, we got compliments from several other students, saying they loved our new looks.

"Okay class, we have a new student today. Please make Logan feel at home." That boy felt so familiar to me. That's when it struck me. "There's an empty seat there" said our teacher, Mr. Richard, gesturing to the empty seat next to me. As Logan made his way towards the seat, I tried to ignore him by searching my bag. I somehow felt kind of nervous.

"Hey Bridgette" Urgh, I hate feeling so soft around him. "Hi, you're the guy from the coffee shop" "Glad you remembered" he said winking at me. "So how come you never called?" I ask him. "I was going to" "Yeah right" laughed at him. " I've got a good memory you know" he replied pointing to his head and then quickly ran his fingers through his hair styling it. Did I mention how cute he looked doing that.

"Okay, looks like you've already made friends Logan, now enough chit chat lets start. Turn your textbook to page 63" I looked across the room and saw Jessica giving dirty looks.  That girl was getting onto my nerves. The rest of the lecture was so boring, I tried so hard to keep myself from dozing off. Logan and I made some eye contact occasionally. I think he sensed that I was bored so he started making funny faces. I couldn't stop smiling and laughing. Laughing quietly was so much harder to contain.

"Is something funny Miss Daniels?" He looked at me sternly, I could feel his eyes starring into my soul. "Uh, no sir" I reply trying to look serious. He looked at Logan who was laughing at me, failing to notice the teacher.

"Since you two were clearly not paying attention during class, I'll see you in detention" "Well, at least you've got me to keep you company"Logan said with a cheeky grin. I just rolled my eyes at him, and reluctantly listened to the lecture.

After school, the girls went to watch the latest movie but i couldn't go because of detention. Thanks alot Logan. I walked into class and sat down. Soon after, Logan walked in and took a sit right next to me. "Seriously? half the class is empty and you choose to sit here?" I ask him annoyed. "Why not? I want to be close to you"

"Okay troublemakers, no talking, no playing, I will see you in a few hours"said the teacher before walking out. "thanks alot Logan" "for what? It's not my fault you landed in here" he says. "Well, if not for you, i would be watching the new movie Catching Fire with Tay and Lin" "Don't worry, I'll take you tonight, that's if you want" "I'll think about it" I say. " Popcorn and drinks are all on me"He replies. "Deal, you've got me" I say smiling at him. "works every time" he smirks, leaning back on the chair. Something tells me that detention won't be so bad after all.
