13. Chapter 13

This month has gone by really fast, my relationship with Logan is still strong, my dad got a promotion, but that means he goes out of town often. I've caught Justine smoking, but at least we're not fighting very often anymore.

It's the day before I leave for Italy, I leave almost everything to the last minute so I had the girls come over to help me pack. I hear a lot of shouting and laughter that means the girls are here and they brought along the rest of the group."Hi guys, make yourself comfortable, me and the girls are going upstairs." i say to the boys.

"when was the last time you went shopping Bridgette?" asked Taylor asked she went through my closet. "Umm, I think last month. I'm waiting for Forever 21 to have a sale." I was finding my purple suitcase, it was big enough to fit most of my clothes. "You know, you still have price tags on some of them." "I know, I haven't worn them yet."

"Do you know Brandon and I started going out?" said Lindsy. "Oh my gosh! i'm so happy for you. It has been forever since you date." I was so happy for her, maybe she is really letting go of her past. " Yeah I know, we have been hanging out for a while now. The other day, we were just talking and he kissed me. "I always thought he had something for you' i said, "and i'm right"

It took us an hour to get everything packed. I had three suitcases altogether, a big one and two smaller one carrying my toiletries, makeup and stuff. We also were able to get rid of some old clothes.

After that, we all pilled into Jack's car for a ride, but Logan said he would skip it because he has to babysit his sister. We drove to a nearby park. I ran to the swings, they remind me of my childhood, when mom used to push me and i would swing higher and higher. Jack came behind me and pushed the swing, it was so fun. Later, we walked to McDonalds, when I accidentally tripped over a small rock and bumped into Jack. "Sorry" He bumped me again, sending me stumbling down. "Not fair" i say. "Life's not fair Bri, you just have to get used to it" I pushed him again, but he hardly even toppled over. He's just to big for me to move. "Cut it out guys, I don't think Logan will be too happy seeing this." says Lindsy. "We're just friends Lindsy, lighten up"

I ended up ordering some fries and a burger, and Jack offered to pay for it. "Hey Bri, you don't want to become fat do you?" taylor questioned. "No I don't, but even if I do, Logan won't mind" As I was about to take a bit out of it, she snatched it out of my hands and cut it into half. "I'll eat the other half" I knew there was no point arguing with her, i let out a big sigh and ate my half. The boys were really good joke tellers, I had a hard time finishing my food and laughing at the same time.

When we were done, Jack sent us all home. i had to sleep early because the planes leaves early next morning. I can't wait to reach Italy.
