41. The Wedding

I walked out of the room and to the doors that I was going to walk through in just a matter of minutes. I took a deep breath. I tightly held onto the orange and white flowers I held in my hands. My palms were sweating.

This was it. This was the day that I, Haley Diana Reagan, was going to become Haley Diana Styles. This was the day that I get married to Harry Edward Styles. This was the day where we say our vows, promising to always love each other, and to be there when the sky is gray. This was the day where we make a commitment to stay by each other's side forever. And I was ready.

I took another deep breath. Slowly inhaling through my nose and exhaling out my mouth. The bridesmaids and other people walked down the aisle. A few seconds later, my brother appeared at my side. "Ready?" he asked. I smiled and nodded. "Yes. Yes I am." I put my hand on his arm.

The doors slowly swung open as all eyes were on me. I smiled really big. I started walking slowly, taking one step at a time. I looked at Harry. His jaw dropped into an open-mouthed smile. I didn't look at any of the people around me. I just focused on Harry. I could tell he felt the same as I did, excited but nervous.

"Good luck." Grant whispered and went to his seat. I stood in front of Harry and held both his hands with mine. "You look so beautiful." he whispered. I felt myself blush. He was wearing a navy blue suit with a white buttoned-up shirt. He had an orange boutonniere, or a flower that guys wear on their suits, and an orange bow tie. He looked very handsome.

The preacher guy started to do his little wedding-talky thing. I stared into Harry's sparkling green eyes the whole time. It came time to say our vows. We had decided to write our own vows instead of doing the traditional stuff. I said mine first, making sure to really mean what I said. I thought I did a pretty good job. Then it was Harry's turn. He cleared his throat.

"From the moment I met you, you've surprised me, distracted me, captivated me and challenged me in a way that no one ever has. I've fallen in love with you over and over again countless times without doubt and I fall more in love with you every day. I promise to be true to you, to uplift you and support you, to frustrate and challenge you, and to share with you all the beautiful, quirky moments of life. No matter what trials we encounter or what hardships we face together or how much time has passed, I know that our love will never fade. That we will always find strength in one another, and that we will continue to grow side by side. You are my partner in crime, and I vow to always love you with every beat of my heart."

I felt the tears come to my eyes. I quickly wiped them away before they could ruin my makeup. Harry wiped away some tears, too. I'm pretty sure the whole room was touched by Harry's vows. They were absolutely beautiful. After that we exchanged rings. "I now pronounce you husband and wife," the preacher said. "You may kiss the bride." Harry smiled and put his hands on my waist.

He leaned in and pressed his lips against mine. I felt more fireworks than I ever had. It was different than any of the other times we kissed. It had more meaning, if that makes sense. Like we both really meant it. Because it was our first kiss as a married couple. Probably the most special moment of our lives.

The whole crowd clapped and cheered. Pictures were being taken from all directions. I pulled away and smiled. "I love you Mrs. Styles." Harry whispered. "I love you, too, Mr. Styles." I whispered back.

We exited the platform we were standing on. Followed by the bridesmaids, the groomsmen and others. The reception was being held immediately after. After everyone left to go to the reception, we had to take pictures. Before we started taking pictures with Eleanor, Danielle, Perrie, Sarah, Niall, Louis, Zayn, Liam, Grant, Anne, Robin and Gemma, they all congratulated us.

"I'm so proud of you!" Grant said giving me a hug. "My little sis is all grown up now." He was getting teared up. "Aww, Grant." I said holding on to him. It was actually kind of funny because the girls were all squeals and giggles, but the boys were all crying. Well, getting teared up, at least.

"That speech, mate. You had all of us in tears." Niall said to Harry. "It came from the heart." he told him. After hearing many 'I'm so proud of you's and 'congratulations', we took lots of pictures, inside the church and out. My favorite was one of me and Harry standing in front of the lake. The sun was just setting right behind us so all you could see was the shadow of us kissing. It was so beautiful.

After we finished we went to the reception. It was being held at a big building. It was basically just a large empty room that the boys and girls decorated for it. As soon as we walked in the crowd cheered for us. I held Harry's hand tightly in mine. Bunches of people came up to us. Relatives, friends, acquaintances, everyone.

"Okay, everyone. It's time for the dance of the bride and groom." someone said into a microphone. Harry and I walked over to the dance floor. Everyone gathered around us, forming a circle. He put his hands on my waist and I wrapped my arms around his neck. 'Little Things' started to play. I smiled at the song choice. I had let Harry choose the song.

"Good choice." I whispered into his ear as he swayed me back and forth. "I thought you'd like it." he said. He sang softly as we danced. As soon as it reached the end, he kissed me. Everyone clapped and cheered.

The real music started to play. Everyone was dancing and having a good time. And then a saw it. The 5-tiered, white and orange, delicious food item sitting alone on a table. I walked over to the large cake, admiring it. When it comes to cake, I'm an addict. So this thing was like heaven on a table.

Niall came up next to me. "Louis and Zayn had to hold me back earlier so I wouldn't eat it." he said chuckling. I laughed. "I know. I have a soft spot for cake." I told him. I looked into his eyes. "You look really pretty." he told me. I smiled. "Thanks." I said, looking down at the ground. "I'm so happy for you and Harry. All I ever wanted was for you two to be happy. And seeing you guys on your wedding day, all fancied up and smiling, it's amazing." he said. I gave him a hug. "Aww. I love you so much. As a friend, of course." I told him. "I love you, too. As a friend."

He got distracted by a friend of his and left. A slow song started to play. "You wanna dance?" a familiar voice asked from behind me. I turned around and saw Grant smiling down at me. "Sure." I said, taking my brother's hand. We walked over to the dance floor and swayed back and forth.

"I'm so proud of you. It feels like only yesterday I was teaching you how to tie your shoe." he said in my ear. I giggled, remembering how stubborn I was that day. I kept giving up, but Grant always made me keep going. He's done that my whole life. He's the best big brother anyone could ever have.

"So how's college?" I asked him. "Good. I have about one more year before I get my degree as a personal exercise trainer. Then I'll probably go back to New York and find work there." he told me. We talked softly as we danced to the rest of the song. Once it was over, he kissed me on the top of my head and went over to some friends he had made.

Harry came over to me and wrapped his arms around my waist. "Having fun?" he asked. I nodded and turned so I was facing him. "Yes. This is the best day of my life, other then meeting you." I told him. "I can't wait to be alone with you for two whole weeks." he said excitedly. "I know. It's going to be great." I responded.

We stayed up late, until about 2 in the morning. Let me tell you, celebrities really know how to party! And also, the cake was de-lish! Harry and I were the last to leave at around 3-ish. We said goodbye to everyone and then left to go to our hotel and stay there for the night.

I got out of my dress and washed off the makeup. It felt so good to be in my too big pj's and makeup free. I was sitting on the bed with my phone in my hands. I went on Instagram and decided to change my name.

@HaleyStyles0214: @harrystyles Ever since I first met you, I knew you were the one. You loved me like nobody else did. You treated me like a princess, even though I was not even close to being one. You made me feel special every time you told me you loved me. And even though we've had our downs, we've always made up. Because that's what lovers do. They never stop loving. I know I will never stop loving you. Because you are my everything. And I am so happy to be called your wife. I love you, baby. xx

I also went on Twitter.

@HaleyStyles0214: Had the best day ever with @Harry_Styles. Haley Diana Styles. Hmm. Not bad. Love you, Haz. xx

Harry walked out of the bathroom in his pajamas. His hair was wet from the shower he just took. I already took one. He sat down on the bed next to me. He turned my face away from my phone with his index finger so that I was looking at him. He pressed his warm lips against mine. "I love you so much." he said. "I love you, too." I told him.

Him and I stayed up pretty much all night. We just watched movies, talked and did...other stuff. It was truly the best day ever. And I was lucky enough to spend it with the best guy in the world. My husband, Harry Edward Styles.
