Paris's POV

I held Liam's hand and the closer we got to her room, the tighter I squeezed it. Not even there yet and my knuckles were white as can be. My grip was so tight, I couldn't feel my hand.

"Babe relax," Liam calmly whispered in my ear. I relaxed my grip a bit. Liam started to brush the top of my hand with his thumb and that relaxed me a bit more.

"How can I?" I asked him. I looked him straight in the eyes and he did the same. "This is, what? Our second? Third? Time at a hospital. I can't help but worry," I sighed. By this time, we have reached her room they gave her. I took a deep breath and placed my hand on the handle. Just when I was about to turn it, it turned. I stepped back, awaiting who would step out.

"Oh! Hello!" the man, who I am guessing is the doctor, said a bit stunned. He looked at me then Liam then looked past us. I turned a bit to see Niall and Harry. He then looked back at me. "Are you by any chance related to Miss Starr?" he asked me.

"Y-Yes," I stuttered. He nodded then looked at his clipboard. I was quite scared to be honest.

"Alright. Well nothing major like a broken, sprained, or fractured bone. No stitches or anything like that," he joked a bit. I cracked a small smile. "I say, the fainting was mostly stress. But we did find out that she has a high fever," he finished. My eyes widened.

"Will she be ok?" I asked him frantically. Liam snaked his hand around my waist and pulled me back a bit. He gave me a slight squeeze. I took a deep breath.

"She will be fine," he said as relief washed over me. "We will keep her here till it goes down. As I assume you all know, high fevers are dangerous. A fever 104 or higher can cause some serious damage if not reduced soon. But you can't reduce a fever too quick or it could be dangerous as well. So we will keep her here till it comes down which should be within 5 days. Maybe sooner," he told us. He gave us a nod then walked off. I started to walk towards the door again, when I glanced back at everyone started to crowd around me.

"Ok stop," I said as I turned around. The three boys stopped. "Look, I am just going in there. No one else."

"Why?" Niall snapped. I was taken back a bit at his anger. I tried not to show it though.

"Because she is sick and I highly doubt she wants to see you," I snapped back. He looked a bit taken back. It's true though. I know her, well somewhat, we still need to get to know each other a bit more. "I don't want a lot of people in there at one time. Plus you two," I pointed to Niall and Harry, "need to work out whatever is going on. Gosh, I can feel the tension radiating off you two," I groaned. Harry and Niall stood there shocked. I then walked into the room. London was asleep. I could see the beads of sweat on her forehead. Poor girl. I should probably call mum. I pulled out her phone and dialed her number.

"Hey sweetie!" she said happily.

"Hey mum..." I sighed. "Look, I am going to make this quick... London is in the hospital," I started to tell her. "She-"

"I'm on my way," she interrupted then hung up. I put the phone in my pocket. I then walked over to London's bed.

"Hey sis. Mum is on her way. I am not sure about dad." I told her with a laugh. "Because you know I can't-"

"Where is- Oh," I heard a male voice call. I gasped.

"Looks like dad is here," I whispered to London. She started to stir. She finally opened her eyes. I put my finger to my lips telling her to be quiet. I walked over to the bathroom and noticed the shower had a curtain and a little bench. I sat on the bench and closed the curtain listening to the conversation outside the room.

"So this is your fault?" I heard dad yell.

"N-No sir. I brought her here. She fainted after I was talking to her," I heard an Irish accent speak. I heard my dad groan.

"Look, I am going to talk to you boys later. For now, I am going to go see my daughter," he growled. I heard the door open and footsteps. I stayed still. I need to text mum.

"Look, Mr. Starr. London has a high fever," Liam warned. It was silent. I pulled out my phone and scrolled to find my mum's number.

To Mum: Don't come. Dad here. Hiding in bathroom, Don't text back

I sat in the shower just waiting. I haven't paid much attention to what he was telling her. But then my phone vibrated. It echoed off the walls in the bathroom. I silently cursed to myself as the talking seized. I heard footsteps nearing the bathroom. I could see feet from under the curtain. My breath hitched as I saw the shadow and a hand reached for the curtain.
