Ollie walked with me down the street. We were hand-in-hand and it felt nice. Safe. Secure. Loved. Everything. The weather wasn't that bad for London weather, especially since it was now getting cooler. There was a light breeze in the air and it made me get a few goosebumps.

"Are we there yet?" I ask. "These heels are killing me!" It was true, these heels were rubbing the crap out of the ball of my feet, my heels and the top of my feet. I wish I'd spotted these shoes a while back and actually tried them on and wore them in.

"Almost," Ollie started. "Just like half a block."

I noticed that there were little fancy restaurants placed everywhere. Indian, Japanese, French, Italian. You name it, it was there. It was quite cute actually. They were like it was on one of those romantic movies where your date takes you out for dinner and then the restaurant has dimmed lights and all that jazz.

Man, I was so excited for this date that was coming up. In Australia, all the 'boyfriends' that I had, were more like flings. No, they were flings. Maybe Ollie would be my first ever boyfriend. He fit the picture. His personality was perfect and he himself was perfect.

"Cat, we're here." Ollie says, pulling me back by my arm. We had stopped by a Chinese restaurant called The Paper Lantern. I looked into the glass and it was quite classy. Inside there were tables of all sizes, the lights were dimmed and there were fairy lights hanging everywhere and there were paper lanterns hanging around the place as well.

Ollie and I walked inside to the front desk part and the restaurant was quite warm and there was also a fair few people dining here as well.

"Hello? Do you have a reservation?" The lady asked us.

"Yes I do. Under Marshall. Ollie Marshall."

"Yes, right this way." She said. The lady led us to our dinner table. It was table of two and it was sectioned off into the corner of the restaurant, like it was a private table. This place was quite full, with some elderly couples, some older couples and a few families.

"Thank you." Ollie and I said unison. The lady smiled at us and walked off. I went to take a seat but the Ollie ran around my side of the table and pulled out my chair, motioning for me to sit down. That's a bit cliché there.

"Oh thank you Ollie." I said, then sitting down on the chair. Ollie sat down on his chair. I grabbed the menu and looked for something to order. I like lots of Chinese foods, so this kinda hard for me  to order small, cheap and quick.

There was cashew chicken, hot and sour soup, san choy bow, peaking duck, etc.. I couldn't pick, and I also didn't want to look like a pig.

"What are you ordering?" Ollie asked.

"Um I don't know yet, you?"

"Beef and broccoli. We should get two separate meals then a massive one to share. What do you think?"

"Yeah, great idea." I smiled. It was like not even ten minutes into the date and I was already liking it. I kept looking around the menu, looking for something to choose from. Something caught my eye on the menu. The one only, shrimp cakes.

"Oh my god!" I yelled. A few eye landed on me. "They have shrimp cakes! I'm so getting those."

Ollie laughed at me, and we continued looking at the menu. I was stuck in a tough choice between cashew chicken and san choy bow. Ollie said we could definitely get the shrimp cakes, which was pretty good because we both love them as much as each other.

Soon, a waiter came up to take our order. Ollie ordered beef and broccoli with a Fanta and I ordered cashew chicken with a pepsi max, and then we asked for some shrimp cakes. We talked quite a lot and like everybody, I finished my drink before the food came.

**************

We walked up to my front door and we let go of our hands.

"Thank you again Ollie, I had a really nice time." I said, then I kissed his cheek. Ollie went bright red. Awh, the little cutie.

"Oh Cat, can I ask you something?"

"Yeah sure you can."

"Um..will you be my girlfriend?"

"Yes!" I squeal. "Yes!" I hugged him tight.

"Goodbye, Cat. I see you tomorrow." He said.

"Bye Ollie."

I watched Ollie walk off and I entered the house with a grin ear-to-ear.
