Allie Jensen was your average cheerleader. She was blond, blue eyed, and despite her stereotype of being dumb, she was actually smart. When a new guy arrives at her school, she develops feelings that she has never felt with other guys. To her, he is a mystery. He eventually reveals his secret to Allie, knowing that she would be in danger. To him, she is the only girl he could trust. Her friends tell her that he is bad news, but Allie doesn't listen to them and continues to fall for the guy even more. Unlike some people, Allie found the good in him.

9. His First Love

Two weeks into her summer vacation, Allie had been to "lazy" to go out with her friends. She had spent two weeks crying over the fact that Ethan was gone for good. She had pushed thoughts of him out of her mind and hopefully, it was going to stay that way.

She had missed many calls and texts from Charlotte. Her parents had also been trying to persuade their daughter to go outside, but Allie just wouldn't budge. She only left the room to eat her three meals in a day, but that was it. After every meal, she would just lock herself up in her room.

Finally, with enough persuasion, Allie left the house and drove to the mall. She sat at one of the tables in the food court and looked at all the happy couples surrounding her. Looking at them reminded her of how happy she was with Ethan, and they also disgusted her in a way.

She got up and began to walk around the mall, entering a few stores to look at the clothing. As she walked out of one store, she ran into a guy. "Oh, sorry." she muttered under her breath. "It's good to see you Allie." Lukas smiled at her.

She looked up to see who it was and then smiled. "Hey Luke." She was relieved to see a familiar face at the mall other than her friends. "How've you been?" he asked, pulling her into a tight hug. She hugged him back. "I'm okay." she said.

He pulled away from the hug and asked, "Wanna grab a bite to eat?" She agreed to go with him to the food court to go and eat with him. They sat down together at a table and began to eat their food. "What are you doing here?" she asked him.

"To check up on how you're coping know." he said.

"Not very well." she sighed.

"You need to go out and have some fun. Colton and I are having a party at... you know where. We're trying to find some people to invite and I had a thought to invite you." he smiled. She looked at him while she continued to eat her food. "It'll be fun, and it'll get your mind off of him." he added.

Allie liked Lukas' company, and it seemed like he filled up the whole in her heart from when Ethan had left her. "I'll go." she smiled.

"Great. I'll pick you up at your house, say around 8?" he asked. She nodded in reply and he smiled, "Good."

Later that evening, Allie had gotten ready for the party that Lukas and Colton were having. She hadn't gone to a party in a long time and looked at herself in the mirror one last time. She was wearing dark skinny jeans, black boots, white top, leather jacket, and matching jewelry. This was the fifth outfit she had tried on and hopefully, this outfit was a success.

The door bell rang and she headed downstairs to answer the door. "Hey sexy." Colton smirked, leaning against the door frame with his arms crossed over his chest. "Did you forget that you have a girlfriend?" Lukas asked, approaching the entrance behind Colton.

"It's not like she'll care." Colton said.

"Ready to go?" Lukas asked Allie, looking towards her direction. Allie nodded, "Yeah. I hope this is alright." she said. She emerged from the door, locking it behind her. "You are absolutely stunning." he smiled.

Allie blushed as she followed Lukas out to his car. "Wait, don't I get shotgun?" Colton asked as Lukas opened the passenger door for Allie. "Sorry man, but I play favorites." Lukas winked at Allie as she got into the car. Colton got into the backseat while Lukas got into the driver's seat beside her.

Lukas arrived at the place where the party was held at and the three of them exited the car, then entered the building. Music was playing loudly and the crowd was already dancing. "Want to dance with me?" Lukas held his hand out towards Allie's direction, calling loudly over the music. "Sure." she said in reply, taking his hand.

Lukas led her out to the floor and began dancing with her. After a good hour or so, Lukas led Allie upstairs to one of the rooms. As soon as they entered the room, Allie realized that it was Lukas' room. "By the way, you're the only girl I've ever let up here." he said.

"Why's that?" she asked, sitting on his bed.

"Rae and Laila may be girls, but I'm picky when it comes to people I let in." he said. "It keeps my sanity level high because when I'm surrounded by those two, war happens. I go outside too, especially to this meadow in the forest. It helps me think, clear my mind for a bit."

"Wish I could clear my mind." Allie said with a sigh. Lukas went over and sat beside her. "I know this is a bit sudden, but come and travel with me. We can see the world together, take a break from this madness. I know you've been dying to escape this world for a while now." he said.

"Why me?" she asked.

"That day Ethan brought you here was the day I secretly wished to have you. I know your Ethan's. Every wolf has its mate, and your his." Lukas looked down at his hands. "Can you explain that to me?" she asked him.

Lukas began to explain about the mate situation to Allie. "It's when the two of you share a bond that no one understands and you know when the other is hurting. You're both on the same frequency, always knowing each other's every movement. When it comes to love, it's unbreakable. It lasts for a long time and even when the male/female tries to find another, they will always find their way back to their first love." he said.

"Who's Ethan's first love?" Allie asked. As soon as the words left her mouth, she regretted the second she asked him that question.
