All or Nothing

Can a simple phone call change your life? In Aurora (Rori for short) and Amelia Carter's case, it can. Rori Carter, already a household name and eighteen, gets offered a movie deal that she can't not accept. Little does she know, she's doing a movie with the famous Louis Tomlinson. Amelia, Rori's little sister, is an aspiring singer and only sixteen. To her surprise, she gets offered to collaborate with the one and only One Direction. Will these girls find love and be successful? Or will they end up getting their hearts broken with their careers falling apart with it? Give them all or nothing.

15. That's funny because I've never heard anything about you.

The makeup artists finished putting makeup on and I had to remember not to rub my eyes as I walked out of the trailer.

"Oh! You're actually somewhat pretty now," exclaimed Louis.

"Oh har de har har, you're so funny," I said sarcastically. We had been working together for a month now and we still pretty much hated each other. But sometimes, I would look at him and he would look back at me and smile, that side smile and crinkle his eyes. Sometimes, it's like the world completely stops, and it's just him and I.

And then he ruins it by saying something stupid.

We finished filming the scenes for that day without having to start over because Louis wasn't all weird and could come near me, instead of the usual opposite. Which I guess meant that he was used to being close to me, which was great...I guess.

We got into the car together, not really saying anything.

"Sooo...filming went okay today," started Louis.

"Okay? Just okay?" I asked, a little snappy.

"What? I was just trying to make conversation..."

"Well, don't." I was still upset about Mia and Harry seeing each other.

"Okay fine," said Louis, looking out the window, and not talking to me. We didn't tease each other so much anymore. He would try, and then I would say something a little too harsh. He sighed and then turned around in his seat to face me.

"Listen, Rori... Things have been really weird since we kissed each other in my trailer that one day--"

"YOU kissed ME."

"Yeah...okay. Anyway, I just...I think we should put it past us. It was just rehearsing without the cameras, you know? It's not that big of a deal."

"Not that big of a deal?" I asked, barely above a whisper. He stared at me confused for a minute.

"Yeah... Not that big of a deal. I mean, it's just a kiss..."

"Just a kiss?"

"Am I saying the wrong thing here?"

"Yes. Obviously. You stole my first kiss, Louis. It wasn't just some rehearsal thing, because it took me by surprise. Rehearsal means I'm not me. I'm a character. You're a character. But instead I was me and you were you and you being you was kissing me being me and that was a big deal for me. I didn't want you to kiss me, Louis. I was saving that first kiss for someone really special and you just--"

"Wait. Are you turning this whole thing around and saying you're mad at me because I kissed you?"

"How is that fair? It's not like I knew it was your first kiss."

"Ya could've asked!"

"'Oh hey, Rori, I'm gonna kiss you now. Is that all right?' How dumb does that sound."

"At least I would've known it was for rehearsal!! I wanted my first kiss to, at least, be with someone who actually likes me!!"

"I DO LIKE YOU!" he yelled into my face. I paused for a second, staring at him in disbelief.

"I mean..."

"What?" I asked, shocked. I looked away from him and stared at my hands as the car stopped moving.

"You like me?" I asked, still staring at my hands. I didn't know what to do. No one had ever...liked me before. He was silent, and when I looked up at him, he was staring outside of the unmoving car. I followed his gaze, seeing a slender girl with wavy dark brown hair and long legs. She was really beautiful. Before either of us could say anything, Louis climbed out of the car.

"Eleanor!" he called out, forcing a smile on his face.

"Louis!!" she said ecstatically, running towards him. She put two hands on either side of his face, and smashed her lips onto his. I felt my jaw drop as I stared at the window. Quickly, I regained my composure and stepped out of the car.

"Oh, um, Eleanor, this is my costar Rori Carter, and Rori...this is my friend Eleanor," said Louis a little uncomfortably. Eleanor laughed and jabbed him in the ribs.

"I'm his girlfriend. Rori is it? I've heard so much about you!"

"Really? That's funny because I've never heard anything about you. Not even a word. Or a syllable. Or even a letter about you," I said, smiling. Her smile slowly became strained.

"Well. Aren't you a charmer?"

"That's what people tell me!" I said, still smiling, cheerfully.

"Uhh...that's just Rori's sense of humor. She's joking!" Louis interjected trying to stop us from talking to each other.

"O-kaay. Well, it was nice meeting you, Rori," she said, her smile still forced.

"Okay, Louis, let's go, yeah?" she said nodding her head as she took Louis' arm and led him to a car. He didn't even turn around.

"'And this is Eleanor, my friend,'" I said mocking Louis' voice, "'Actually his girlfriend ha ha de ha ha hatie ha.'"

"You're taking this really well," said Mia sarcastically.

"'I like you Rori. That's why I kissed you. Because I have feelings for you. OH but did I mention? I have a girlfriend!'" I said, still mocking Louis' voice.

"You really have the voice down..."

"Who does he think he is? Kissing me and having a girlfriend? That son of a--"

"Maybe he was just in the moment?"

"The moment? THE MOMENT??!"

"Okaaaay, maybe not then."

"He KISSED ME said he had FEELINGS FOR ME and yet never mentions the fact that he has a stupidly gorgeous yet ugly buffoon of a GIRLFRIEND???!"

"Yeah, you're really not taking this well..." said Mia as she watched me pace back and forth across her room.

"WHO DOES HE THINK HE IS???! 'Oh! I'm Louis Tomlinson and I have a freakishly gorgeous girlfriend but I'm a player so I'm gonna have a little extra on the side.' Jerk."

"I'm sure he wasn't thinking--"

"I can't believe I even almost FELL for those STUPID blue eyes and STUPID hair and STUPID face and the way he STUPIDLY looks at things and how he STUPIDLY says my name. I CAN'T BELIEVE I WAS ALMOST THAT STUPID."

"Aw, you like him."

"No yeah, I heard."

"My first kiss was with a lying cheating backstabbing little son of a--"

"Maybe he does like you but he just happened to have a girlfriend when he did."

"Don't be stupid, Mia. Stuff like that only happens in books, this is reality."

"Thanks, Rori, for that." Then I felt myself start to break down.

"I can't believe... I can't believe that he has a..." tears fell down my face and I fell to the ground, curling my knees to my chest.

"Are you...Wait, are you crying?" asked Mia, shocked.

"YES! I'm crying!" Mia stood there still looking shocked at me.

"Oh just, leave me alone," I said, quickly wiping my tears and running into my room. Why was I crying? I never cry. Stop crying. STOP CRYING.

But I couldn't. It just kept coming. I hate Louis Tomlinson. I hate him for making me feel this way.
