All or Nothing

Can a simple phone call change your life? In Aurora (Rori for short) and Amelia Carter's case, it can. Rori Carter, already a household name and eighteen, gets offered a movie deal that she can't not accept. Little does she know, she's doing a movie with the famous Louis Tomlinson. Amelia, Rori's little sister, is an aspiring singer and only sixteen. To her surprise, she gets offered to collaborate with the one and only One Direction. Will these girls find love and be successful? Or will they end up getting their hearts broken with their careers falling apart with it? Give them all or nothing.

3. "Excuse me, who do you think you are?"

By midnight, the video that Mia had showed me hit a million views. I groaned as I put my head in between my knees, before whipping it back up.

"How many times have you watched that?" my mother asked, popping up beside me. I jumped and clutched my heart.

"Mother!" I cried.

"You know, they made a remix of it," said my mother, showing me her iphone. It showed me tripping and had my little squeal. They played it over and over again in different speeds and different pitches. It was actually kind of catchy. That video had over two million views.

"WHY do people watch this?" I asked, pushing her phone away. She laughed and sat down beside me.

"Because it's nice to know that celebrities are human every once in a while. Not that it's going to do wonders for your career."

"Jennifer Lawrence tripped up the stairs and she doesn't get a remix video of her tripping."

"Then again, she didn't squeal like a pig being barbecued." I never get what my mother tries to say.

"You're taking this all reeaaaally well," I said, an eyebrow raised. What did she have cooking up her sleeve?

"I told you, sweetheart. That new movie deal that they offered this morning, is going to have your career skyrocket. As long as you listen to me, and your PR officer Katie. Okay?"

"Don't Mother me. And the film takes place in New York City. So you don't have to be too far away from home!" Mother said happily, before kissing me on the forehead and skipping up the stairs. I sighed and looked back at my laptop. Mia's music had stopped playing. I went upstairs and opened her door. She was sound asleep. I wish Mother focused on her dreams once in a while. I already had mine. I closed the door silently and mentally prepared myself for the film that was starting tomorrow.

"You're playing a girl called Leah Dawson. I faxed the script to your mother yesterday afternoon, did you get it?" asked Lasse Hallstrom. Yes, he was my director and also directed Safe Haven and Dear John.

"Um, yeah. I read it last night. It's a Rom Com, right?" I asked.

"Romantic comedy," he said absentmindedly.

"Yeah that's what I--"

"Oh! There's your costar!" he said excitedly, walking quickly away from me.

"O...kaaay..." I said slowly. I started to follow him, plastering a smile on my face. Then I saw he walked out of the black sleek car.

"Louis Tomlinson?" I heard myself ask under my breath. He shook Lasse's hand. Lasse being more excited than Louis was. Then his eyes met mine. The smile wiped off of my face.

I had to work with a singer? Great.

"This is your costar, Aurora Carter," said Lasse, leading Louis towards me. He looked me up and down and then he seemed to just...stare right through me.

"And this is--" Lasse began.

"Obviously I'm Louis Tomlinson," he finished for him, flashing a forced smile at me before asking where his dressing room was. Excuse me?

"Aurora can show you," said Lasse, walking away with some writers or camera people, I never was really sure. Louis stood next to me as I watched Lasse walk away from me.

Oh God.

"I can tell you're a real big fan so--"

"I'm going to stop you right there," I said, putting a hand up, "One, I'm not a real big fan. And two, I'm not happy that I'm working with you. No one told me I was going to. And you have a real big ego problem." His eyes widened and then he seemed to actually see me for the first time. His eyes ran over me.

"Well, I've never even heard of you," he said in his stupid British accent, before turning away and walking away from me.

"Wrong way. The dressing rooms are that way," I said, pointing to the other direction. He turned and looked over at the direction, and then looked at me.

"Oh and by the way Anna--"

"Aurora. How the hell did you get Anna from Aurora?"

"I'm not happy about working with a nobody. So I guess we're even," he said before walking towards the dressing rooms.

"Nobody? Excuse me, who do you think you are?" I called after him. He paused for a second and then smiled at me over his shoulder.

"Louis Tomlinson," he said before going off on his merry way. Oh God, I wanted to slap that silly smile off of his face.

Pretending to be in love with him, was going to prove very difficult.
