Little London Girl

Em hates One Direction. She hears all about them all day by her little sister Kayla. Finally, Em thinks she's done with hearing about them when she goes off to college but soon realizes that she'll never be free of One Direction, not when she run's into one of the boys and her world unravels.

1. The boy with blue eyes

I rolled over onto my back and blindly hit at my alarm clock. I moaned as it turned off and I slowly sat up. I looked around my new studio flat and smiled. I was finally free. I was in college and had my own place and didn't have to hear my sister Kayla go on and on and on about One Direction. Ugh! I was sick of hearing about them! That's all Kayla ever talked about. For 2 years since they were on X-Factor. In all reality, I did vote for them when they were on X-Factor. But after Simon signed them, that's all Kayla talked about and I was sick of it.

I walked over to where my make-shift closet was. The only problem with living in a studio, was there was no storage. So I had bought a metal rail and made a place to hang my clothes. I didn't have very many, I wasn't the kind of girl who loved clothes. I was more into the skater shoes like Vans. I was very laid back, and honestly, I didn't care about fashion. I just wore what I felt like. I pulled off a white tee shirt and a purple hoodie and some skinny jeans. I walked over to the bathroom to get ready.

About an hour later I walked out of the hot foggy bathroom. I was ready for my first day of college. I walked over to my couch in the middle of the studio and picket up my dark red backpack and some notebooks and pen. Then I grabbed my lucky guitar pick necklace. It wasn't really lucky, I just called it that cause I had worn it everyday for 4 years. After about the first year the gold letters rubbed off, now it was just a black guitar pick with two red and purple beads on either side.

I walked out of my flat and locked the door behind me and started walking towards the campus. I only lived about 5 minutes away from it. I felt a soft buzzing coming from my pocket and then the music What Makes You Beautiful. It was my sisters set ringtone. I pulled it out and answered.

"Hey Kayla, what's up?" I answered. I heard her scream her little high pitched scream into the receiver and I pulled the phone away from my ear. When I heard her stop I placed the phone back up to my hear. "What the heck was that for?" I practically yelled at her.

"Your so flipping lucky!" Kayla yelled back at me. "Can I move in with you?"

"No? Why?" I asked as I walked past this little park right outside the school. I stopped by a tree and looked across the little pond with people in row boats.

"Louis Tomlinson is there!" she yelled.

"Who?" I asked.

"Louis Tomlinson!! One Direction!" she yelled at me.

"Right, sorry. Why is he here?" I asked pretending as if I actually cared.

"He and the other boys are taking time off for a while, and Louis decided to go back to college. He's going to the same school you are!"

"Ok, well I'll keep an eye out for him," I said. "Now I have class, I'll talk to you later Kay," I said before she could keep talking.

I put my phone back in my pocket and started walking towards the large grey school building. I stepped inside the hallway and started looking around for the office, I was hoping to get a map of the school. I still didn't have class for another hour, but I didn't know my way around. I found the office and the lady inside handed me a map of the school. I walked out of the office while looking down at the map and my schedule when I ran into someone. My papers went falling to the ground and I quickly bent down to pick them up and along the way I met eyes with the stranger. He had blue blue eyes. They were a beautiful blue.

"I'm so sorry love, I wasn't paying attention," the boy said. His eyes seemed to sparkle. He had on a black and white stripped shirt and red skinny jeans.

"No no, I'm sorry, I was lost and I should've been looking where I was going," I stammered. The boy smiled at me and I couldn't help but smile back.

"I'm Louis, by the way," the boy said as we stood up.

"I'm Emily, but you can call me Em," I said as I smiled at him. He probably thought I was a creep or something.

"Well Em, I have to get to class right now but I'd love to get to know you better," he said as he pulled out his iPhone and handed it to me. "Can I have your number?" I nodded and handed him my phone as well and put my name and number into his phone. I gave him his phone back and put mine back in my pocket and he walked away.
