Searching (Niall Horan Fanfiction)

"One look, one night, one simple silent glance and that was all it took. I had to find her. And somehow, some way, I would find her, even if that meant searching the entire world to see her eyes again." ~Niall Horan

23. Chapter 23

"Get rid of her," Richard told me handing me almost two grand in cash. I stared at him wide eyed before nodding and making my way to the red head who sat outside. She was staring at the ground, clutching a red hat to her chest. I cleared my throat.

"Miss, you're going to have to leave. The venu has been bought out for the evening." She looked up with a terrified expression, like a dear in the headlights. She swallowed hard before standing.

"I-I know..." She said quietly. "I'm just waiting for someone." She gestured to the hat. "He left his hat. I just want to return it."

I shook my head. "Ma'am, their manager has told me to keep the fans as far as possible. If you do not leave, I'm going to have to call the police." She looked down at her feet before she sighed. She was silent for a minute before she looked up and met my eyes. Her eyes gleamed with so many secrets; I had the feeling that wasn't even the half of it.

"Have you ever...wanted something so'd travel all over the world for it...?" I shook my head. "I've been all over the place this last week for that blonde idiot in there," she pointed toward the Irish one, "just to give him his hat back. And I can't explain it. But I just have to."

I sighed and looked around. "How far have you been, ya know, traveling?"

"Every state they have gone so far. I kind of lost count. I think maybe 6 or 7. And now here I am in New York at some random pizza shop waiting on a street filled with rats. I left my friends in Ohio, they don't even know I'm here. Please." She begged. "Let me see him."

"His manager said not to let you in." I sighed. "But I can give him a message for you."

She smiled brightly and threw her arms around me. "Thank you so much!" When she pulled back, she had tears in her eyes. She thought for a second. "Just give him this hat and tell him to go to this address," she reached into her pocket and pulled out a pen and post it note and scribbled down an address. I recognized it as the address for The Pierre Hotel. I nodded to her and she placed the note inside the hat before handing it off to me and rushing away.

I sighed and walked back inside to Richard, holding out his money. He stared at me with wide eyes. "What are you doing, Sam?"

"Something you don't have balls enough to do." I said going to the table.

Richard grabbed my shoulder, "Don't do it."

"Let go," I said shaking him off.
