When the War began, there was no conflict.

When the war began, there was no conflict, just a silent invasion, creeping in bit by bit. Only now that we have lost do we fight, our King was assassinated. He left us, leaving his loyal subjects unprotected from the virus. Many caught it, never to come around, some did, some saw it's beauty and let it take them, before realizing that beauty was a lie, and some, some stayed strong and fought, and they still fight for FREEDOM! This is the Land of Movellas, or should I say Erotica?

We are slaves to an empire, where safe is a word used only by citizens, the outcasts will fight, for as long as it takes, because the rebels will restore the Land to Movellas and they will make it powerful once again!

I hope you like this book, it's suppose to portray what Movellas was and what it is now. It's a kind of fun story, follow the hero's. (They may or may not be real people from Movellas)

Thank's for reading!

23. Chapter 22

(*Rusty's POV*)

Maybe Shire's right. There no-one around, not at all like the monarchs to be careless. I just hope she's wrong and it's luck. All the same, it has a worrying parfum.

"How much longer do we have to go on 'till we get out of here?" Mina whispered

"Hopefully not more than five minutes or so. If this place really is deserted" Myrah hissed back, her eyes darting rapidly about the corridor

"And if it isn't?"

"Err... depends on how many people we run into"

"Have we all got a weapon of some sort in case we do?" Shire asked

"Rusty and I have" Myrah told her

"Good point!" Mina said "Umm... what do you think I should create?"

"If your aim's any good, choose a gun" Shire advised "It'll be quicker. Unless you want to use a grenade or something like that, but try not to blast the ceiling down on top of us if you do"

"A grenade? Interesting idea, but I should probably have a gun too" Mina answered thoughtfully, then began to mutter softly under her breath

We'd reached the stairs leading down to the second floor, but could only hope it was as desolate as the rooms behind us. I reached the bottom and peered around the corner, but I couldn't see anyone. I stepped out and the others followed.

"What is happening to this place?" Shire wondered out loud "Why is no-one here? Surely they would not leave us here? I suppose we were not as important prisoners as they made out, then"

"Who?" Mina asked curiously

"Curly and Malik. They were having a gloat at Mels and I about how "the rebellion is doomed because we have you", but thinking about it, while the two of us were quite high up in the old ranks, they must have changed with all the deaths and we aren't exactly heads of the revolution, are we?"

"Wouldn't the deaths have made you higher up though?"

"Not necessarily. And I haven't been to the top headquarters in more than a year plus Mels' only been there once. Anyway," here she smiled "we get into far too much trouble!"

Mina giggled "Hell do we know it Shire!"

"Try not to be so loud" I cautioned "There may be any number of people in the rooms either side of us, people we don't want to wake"

"Good point!" Mina fell silent.

I rounded a corner then froze. The others came up behind me and stopped

"Rusty? What's wrong?" asked Myrah, who was at the back. I slowly stepped out of her line of vision. Her eyes widened, then narrowed as she lifted up her gun.
