When the War began, there was no conflict.

When the war began, there was no conflict, just a silent invasion, creeping in bit by bit. Only now that we have lost do we fight, our King was assassinated. He left us, leaving his loyal subjects unprotected from the virus. Many caught it, never to come around, some did, some saw it's beauty and let it take them, before realizing that beauty was a lie, and some, some stayed strong and fought, and they still fight for FREEDOM! This is the Land of Movellas, or should I say Erotica?

We are slaves to an empire, where safe is a word used only by citizens, the outcasts will fight, for as long as it takes, because the rebels will restore the Land to Movellas and they will make it powerful once again!

I hope you like this book, it's suppose to portray what Movellas was and what it is now. It's a kind of fun story, follow the hero's. (They may or may not be real people from Movellas)

Thank's for reading!

14. Chapter 13

(*Shire's POV*)

I sunk down into an armchair and sighed. It had been nearly a week since the attack and since then there had been none, rumor had it Cyber was still in mourning over the death of the monarch's chief advisers son. The obituary given in Movellasland did not paint him in a particularly good light, claiming he was a coward, and refused to fight in the Directioners army. I suppose it was different in Cyber.

Another, more depressing rumor was circulating about the fights in the east. A super weapon had exploded, killing hundreds on both sides- as far as the rumor went there were no survivors. I felt the tears streaming down my face as I thought of all the good people lost fighting against the tyrants.

I knew it wasn't only me that was the most wanted in all of Cyber and Movellasland, but LMH and Mels were too- Mels had never been popular with the Monarchs but recently she had been on fire and they'd noticed straight away and if LMH was telling the truth, they had never hit off either and they knew she was alive now. We'd seen the monarchs in battle, I had taken a bullet to the leg while almost killing a monarch- never a good thing to do if you value your life.

Mels had been complaining how Myrah had been giving her the creeps lately, always on her toes, and somehow Myrah seemed completely oblivious to her death glares. She told me she frankly didn't understand how I could trust her. Although, knowing Mels, she probably has her reasons, she's not someone you want to cross swords with. She is a Kendo expert and has a mean punch, you basically steer clear of her if she hates you.

"Mels" I shouted down the hall. The dawn sun was starting to emerge through the clouds, breaking the darkness. I saw her dart down the hall smoothly, already dressed, armed with daggers, bamboo, the lot. "Yeah?" Mels asked, she was always worried about my leg nowadays

"Well, no one in the East survived, thought we could visit their libraries, as tribute, put them under quarantine." I said slowly, Mels looked up, the tears forming in her eyes. She nodded. "Let's go"

"Don't close down Midnight Rogue's, her work is too good" I added as I tried to walk without showing the pain shooting through my leg.

She opened her mouth to answer, but suddenly stopped. I felt a tingling at the back of my neck and could only watched her slump into the arms of two men dressed in black. I tried screaming but the only sound that came out of my mouth was a hoarse whisper. My legs were giving way, "Get off!" I tried to shout before everything went pitch black.
