20. Worst Laid Plans.

A/N

Hey guys. thank you for reading so far! its been so great! well, the thing is i don't know how many of you remember Amanda, Natalie's dead best friend. this chapter kinda draws attention over Amanda, so in case you guys don't remember her(that's perfectly fine) i suggest you read the first chapter once before reading this chapter. Thanks XX.

Louis’ POV

We spent the entire day in the swimming pool. Natalie wore a white bikini, which made her look like an angel. We played a game called Sink Or Swim, in which everyone not only had to race(no swimming!) to the finish line, but also drown the others at least once. It was extremely hilarious!!

“Boy I’m gonna miss this place,” Liam said. We were siting by the pool, relaxing for the first time in the day.

“Well, we all know who is going to miss it the most.” Zayn said, looking straight at me.

He was right.

I said, looking at Natalie.“Damn right. I’m going to miss it so much.” I put my arms around her and kissed her forehead.

After a little while, we all headed inside to change. I had wet my clothes earlier, so I dug inside my wardrobe for a new t-shirt. God, my wardrobe was such a mess. Still searching for a decent wear, my hands fell on something which was not a fabric. It was an envelope.

Oh right. It was the Natalie’s envelope, in which all of One Direction’s naked pictures settled. I peeked inside, just to make sure the pictures were still there. Relief.

The thing is, it would be quite normal for the pictures to go missing. The maids clean the rooms all the time. If one of them is a fan, they can easily open my wardrobe, check out my stuff, find this envelope along with its contents and finally, leak them online. Disaster! I thought.

I had to do something with them. Mainly because, with whoever they might be, they are never too safe. it would be best to get rid of them as soon as possible. Burn them or bury them… anything to get rid of them. But my plans needed to be changed right after I read the letter from late Amanda(Natalie’s best friend and rightful owner of these pictures) again:

Dear Natalie,

Before you open the envelope, I want you know that I don’t want you to get into trouble but, I seriously couldn’t throw them away, and I want you to keep them. They are the pictures you took last time for my false dying wish. Remember?

Now don’t freak out. It’s okay. I want you to keep ‘em. You can do whatever you want with them, but DO NOT BURN OR THROW THEM AWAY. PLEASE. It’s a dead best friend’s, cancer patient’s and a true directioner’s wish. And have a happy life. Miss you in heaven. :)

PS- I know you’re gonna get married to Louis someday and have a bunch of great kids. :D

-Love, Amanda.<3

Nope. Can’t do anything to the pictures. That is so not-

Wait. What? I read it again.

PS- I know you’re gonna get married to Louis someday and have a bunch of great kids. :D

-Love, Amanda.<3

I smiled. Well, at least she was right about that. But that’s not the point here. Something has to be done about the pictures.

I wish Amanda was alive. Maybe I could have given back the pictures to her. Now, she’s in the cemetery, in a coffin, lieing there breathlessly. Maybe I can just knock at her coffin, let her open the door, then sweetly I give back the pictures. Yay!

Wait. Maybe I can. Well, of course I can. Yes!

“Done with your make-up, princess?” Liam called from outside the room.

“In a minute.” I exclaimed.

Natalie’s POV

I don’t know why was Louis taking so much time. “I bet he’s going to come out wearing a gown,” Niall suggested.

But thankfully, Louis did not. Phew! But what he did wear was a I’m-such-a-genius look, which was weird because he clearly wasn't one. I asked, “What’s with the look?”

He raised an eyebrow.“What look?”

“The I’m-such-a-genius look. What’s that for?”

He replied, proudly.“Well, that’s because I am a genius.”

I narrowed my eyes. “No, you’re not.” He accepted. “Lou, are you telling me what's going on?”

“After the movie, sweety.” He gave me a quick kiss and took his place in the couch beside me.

“So what movie are we watching today?” Harry asked. “ I could buy a couple of them before the fans spotted me. There is ‘Silver Lining Playbook’, ‘Die Hard’ ‘The Notebook’ and ‘Iron Man 3’.”

Everyone started shouting. Harry suggested,“Why don’t we let Natalie decide? Natalie?”

I knew my choice way too well. “The Notebook.” The guys started to boo. “And the catch is I get to see you guys cry.”

“Oh come one. We’re not gonna cry. Are we guys?” Liam threw the question.

“Umm… I don’t know man. When Perrie made me watch it, I cried.” Zayn confessed, not proud at all.

“Yeah, I heard it’s got a great ending.” Niall said.

Liam growled. “You guys are such cowards.” He looked straight at me, and said “At least I am not such a cry-baby.”

“Oh really?” I narrowed my eyes.

Over confident. “Yup. I bet.”

“Well, you’re on.” I smiled. And the movie began.

You guys are about to be Notebooked.

Louis’ POV

By the end of the movie, ironically Natalie and Liam were the ones crying their hearts out. Both of them were rubbing each other’s eyes till stark red. Zayn and Niall were already asleep, and Harry was still cracking his head and was like, “This is total shit! Why is he doing it if the girl is already dead?”

Yeah… he can be pretty dumb sometimes. For me, I didn’t cry because I had my mind running out a master plan. And it was perfect.

After the movie, I pulled Natalie into the kitchen and said, “Listen. Today, I found out those pictures of the band that you took for Amanda.” Her crying disappeared and her eyes widened. “I know you don’t want to think about it, but I think I’ve found a way to get rid of them.”

She didn’t looked excited at all. “Lou, that’s impossible. She’s clearly written in her letter that-”

“That we can’t throw them or burn them yada yada… I know.” I grabbed her shoulders and added, “All I’m saying is that I’ve found a way to do something about them, not to them.”

She was completely disinterested. “Go on.”

“Ok. I reckon we give the pictures back to Amanda.”

She laughed. That’s it, she LAUGHED. “Amanda? Seriously? You do realize she’s dead, right? Her address is the cemetery, where she lies six feet under the ground in a hideous coffin in the company of spiders, and worms and other creepy stuff.” She started to cry.

I hated the fact that I had reminded her of her dead best friend. I didn't want her to cry.

So I pulled her into a tight hug and said, “Shush. Just listen to me. You don’t have to think of it that way. I have a really great plan, and there is no reason to doubt it’s efficiency.” I smiled.

Natalie’s POV

I don’t know what Louis was thinking. Getting rid of those pictures is completely impossible. Trust me, I had done a lot of thinking over this and no, there wasn't any possible way. Nope.

So when Louis said, “I have a really great plan, and there is no reason to doubt it’s efficiency.” All I did was smile. That’s why I love him. He’s always so cheery and funny and optimistic, he makes you wanna say ‘YOLO’ all the time.

Either way, I knew he was a horrible plan-maker. But I didn't want to put him down, so I asked, “Oh really? So your plan is like full proof?”

He gave a very proud smile. “No doubt.”

But I still doubted his intelligence.“Okay. Tell me about it.”

How I seriously wish I hadn't said that.
