an angels voice

July never talkd, never. Her parernts always thought she couldn't even tough the doctors told them there is no physical reason why she couldn't talk. What her parents don't know is that July can talk, the problem is, she doesn't want to. She's always in the back of the class, no one gives something about her, she's like invisible. The only reason preople talk to her is to bully her. It's like she doesn't exist, untill one day, a new boy is added to the class, he notcices her. His name is Liam Payne. Is he able to make her live her life, or will she stay in the dark pit out of fear?

6. a friend?

I walked down the hallway and some girls stared at me, they normally never do. They were talking and pointing ans then I caught a conversation between Brian and Shirley. 'I don't know what Liam sees in her, she's such a wierdo.' Shirley said. 'Maybe he's attracted to wierdo's I don't know.' Brian answered. I walked on, they're not worth listening to. I was getting the books out of my locker as I heard a familiar voice behind me. 'Hi July.' I turned around to see Liam. Inmidiatly a smile appiered on my face. 'So how are you.' I thought and then showed him a quick thumbs up. 'Great.' And he walked to his locker. This little things made my day better, no one els normally asks me how I am. Maybe Liam is right, maybe I have to show them who I really am, step out of the shadows, but I had no idea how.

I rememberd bieng at the doctors, they wanted to check me on autism, but I refused, I refused because I was scared, I didn't want my ''differentness'' to get a name. 'We nood to know what's wrong.' My dad said. Wrong? Is there something wrong with me? I refused to go and I was sure about that, my parents gave up and took me home, not that it made me feel any better.

little note from the writer: people with autism aren't different, there is noting wrong with it

'Do you want to hang out with me?' Liam asked as we were waiting at the bikestalls. 'I looked suprised. 'I mean, just at the baseketballfield or something?' I nodded. 'I'll save my number in your phone.' I gave him my phone and he did as he said. 'See you later.' He said as he left with his bike. I took my bike and headed home. It was wednesday and my parents were still at work, the basketballfield was not for away so they won't make a propblem out of it. I took a post-it and wrote where I was going and then took my bike to go to the field. Liam was already there, he was dribbleing with the ball and threw it in the ring. When he noticed me he picked up the ball and ran over to me. 'Hi July.' I smiled to say hi back. 'Do you want to play a game wit me?' I slowly shook my head. 'Aw  c'mon, It doesn't matter you aren't the best at it, I just want you to have fun.' I smiled and Liam started to dribble the ball in front of me. 'c'mon girl.' I took the ball and dribbled it to the ring, then threw it and suprisily it was in the ring. 'Woohoow!' Liam yelled. It gave me a special feeling. We spended the rest of the day there, playing basketball together, and I had fun. Liam explained me all thr rules and we played for hours. When it started to get dark I looked at the time. 'I think it's better if we go home.' Liam said, I nodded.

'Had fun?' My dad asked as I walked in. I nodded and threw myself on the couch to watch some tv. 'Are you ging to watch tv with us?' My mum asked. I nodded with a why-not? face. 'That's a long time ago.' 'That boy really changes you, for the best?' My dad said. I smiled and watched tv. 'I'm happy to see you change, before you would never communicate with is, I'm happy you do know.' My mum said. I smiled, she was right, they were right, Liam changed me, he changed me for the best.

I went to bed with a good feeling, no music tonight, I don't need that. I laid on my back thinking about Liam and about my life. Yeah it's getting better. Maybe he was the change I was waiting for, the one pulling me out of the black pit.
