21. Chapter 17

Sorry this chapter may be a little rushed at the beginning! I saved it as a draft last night and I was given a limit on my computer so sorry! Please forgive me!!

  ~Grace's P.O.V~

"This is bad," Harry's voice rung through my ears. I could hear him pacing.

"What are we supposed to do now?" Luke asked.

"Watch her back as much as possible. I don't want that asshole touching her," Harry spat. I flipped my body over so that I was laying on my back. I opened my eyes halfway since the light was harming it.

"What's going on?" I asked rubbing my eyes.

"Grace, it's time to wake up," Will said knocking on the door.

"Act like your sick," Harry mouthed as him and Luke scooted onto my balcony. I shrugged at him.

"Just do it," he mouthed again before carefully closing the balcony doors. Will walked into my room as I fell back to pretending to being asleep. Will carefully shook me and I woke up.

"Time for school," Will said. I groaned.

"I don't feel well," I said. I never lied to Will about anything so he generally believed me. Will placed the back of his hand against my forehead and made a sound.

"You're burning up," Will said. "How do you feel sick?"

"Well, I have a massive headache and I have cramps," I said clutching my abdomen.

"Oh, I don't know what that's like but, I'll just tell dad it's your curse acting up again," Will said walking towards the door and shutting it. I walked over to the balcony door and opened it to see Harry and Luke laughing like 13 year old boys first discovering how babies come to the planet.

"What is so funny?" I asked crossing my arms.

"Your 'cramps' are what's funny," Luke said. I flipped the two boys off with my middle finger and walked into my room hearing their laughter stop.

"Now, why are you here and why did I have to pretend to be sick?" I asked. Harry and Luke exchanged glances.

"Dylan and his 'crew' came knocking Lou's door last night and beat the living day lights out of him," Harry said.

 "How is he?"

"Louis is tough, he didn't get too much damage but it was enough to knock him out for a while after those fags left the house," Harry said.

 "How is that good?"

"They could've taken the chance to kill him," Luke said.

"Why didn't they?" I asked gulping.

"Because that would've given us and so much more people the leverage to do the same to Dylan or somebody else from his side," Harry explained. I nodded and paced myself around. Of course they didn't want me to go to school because Harry would kill him right there and then if he tried to so much as touch me. I turned back to the boys and began chewing on my nails.

"What now? I can't pretend to be sick everyday and I can't fail high school," I said at the verge of tears. Fright was building through me, I was getting more and more vulnerable at the sunset. I had only ever felt the frightened when my mother was in the hospital.

"We'll figure it out with time, Grace," Harry said approaching me and putting a few strings of hair behind my ear. "I wouldn't let anything touch you, I promise," Harry said in his deep British accent. I nodded my head and stepped away from him to sit on my bed. No matter what Harry does, I won't forget the look he gave Mariah.

"Until then, we have all our female watchers looking after you, I bet you don't want to be stuck in a room full of guys, that would sound horrible if I were a girl," Luke joked causing my to chuckle as I brushed a new forming tear away from my water line.

"When will they be here?" I asked.

"After your brother and father leave," Luke said with a bright smile. I nodded and cleared the lump in my throat. I grabbed a pair of yoga pants and a tank top and changed in the bathroom. Harry and Luke waited in my bedroom until the girls walked in. Including Erika and girl I'd never seen before. Luke saw the confusion on my face and leaned over and whispered:

"That's Noel," and jumped off my balcony. I looked over at Perrie, I hadn't spoken to her since her father thing. She was looking sad but as soon as she saw me staring at her she curved her lips into a fake smile.

"I can't believe you're the girl Harry is with," Alyssa said rolling her eyes. Someone's a little sassy.

"I can," Eleanor said with a bit of a snarl. I'm guessing Alyssa didn't like me or Eleanor and Eleanor and I didn't like her that much either.

"Can I talk to you alone, Perrie?" I asked. Perrie nodded but that was because I basically obligated her. Perrie and I walked into my living room and sat on the couch.

"What do you need?" Perrie asked forcing another smile on.

"Well I wanted to talk to you," I said patting her shoulder. Perrie shrugged that was her way of asking 'Why?'. I sucked in a breathe and put my hand on my lap. "You haven't been alright since your dad visited yesterday," I said shrugging. Perrie chuckled, but nor in a form of joy. She sucked in a breathe just like I had and turned to face me completely.

"My father has been coming around for a while, and yesterday wasn't the first day he'd done something like that to Zayn or me, and every time that happens I can't help but feel guilty. Zayn doesn't deserve that and he thinks I don't either, I just don't like seeing him hurt," Perrie said with tears falling down her face. "What about you?" Perrie wiped a tear away.

  "What about me?"

"Ever since that night at the club you can't seem to stand Harry looking at Mariah," Perrie said. If I had told Luke, I might as well tell Perrie.

"Well, it's the way he looks at her, he's never done that to me," I said feeling tears dwell in my eyes. Perrie pulled me into a hug and smiled.

"Lets get back to the room, the rest of the girls are going to get reckless," Perrie said wiping away my tears. I nodded and once again cleared the lump in my throat and walked back up to my room where all the girls sat watching TV. We watched movies all day until Will and my father came back from school and work. Perrie and Eleanor stayed considering we were telling   my father that I was having a sleepover with them and I was feeling much better. Then the night turned into my dad having a bottle of wine and getting called into a surprise business trip and Will having to drive him six hours away and ruining his date with the famous Katie. I still can't get over him with that skank, I just can't.

"What now?" Eleanor asked at about 3:00am. We'd stayed up just chatting and eating junk food. Perrie and I shrugged and the three of us just laid down on our backs. We all stared up at the ceiling until my doorbell rung.

"I'll get it," I said getting up.

"Are you sure?" Perrie asked glancing at Eleanor. I nodded my head, I don't think Dylan would come around now, even dangerous people needed sleep at some point. I walked down the stairs and went to the door. I opened it and there he stood. Dylan and two other goons. My heart stopped right in the middle of my chest and my breathing hitched. Sweat immediately ran down my back and I froze in place. Dylan smirked at me and put his cold hands on my face pulling it closer to his. Dylan puckered his lips and pressed them onto mine. It was like kissing cardboard mixed with ice. It was truly disgusting, it was nothing like when I kissed Harry, nothing at all. When I kissed Harry, I got butterflies and I got extremely overwhelmed but kissing Dylan felt like I was being suffocated. When Dylan pulled away he smiled deeply.

"Good girl," he whispered before I felt my eyes get heavy. Soon enough, the world was in never ending darkness. Had I been drugged?
