Forbidden Love

What if Rose Weasley and Scorpius Malfoy had met on the train to Hogwars. What if they had promised to be friends no matter what house they were sorted into. What if their friendship turned into a romance? But how would their parents react to this sudden relationship? Would they approve, and let their children see each other in a romantic way, or would they let their past get involved, and forbid their children to see each other?

2. Arriving at Hogwarts.

As the train came to a stop, all the kids aboard the train got off, and stepped onto the platform, including Scorpius and Rose.

"Do you know where we're suppose to go?" Rose turned to ask Scorpius. Scorpius shrugged.

"First years this way! First years follow me!" they heard a loud deep voice echoing around the platform.

Rose and Scorpius followed the voice, until they saw a huge man, who looked he was about the height of three of them. The man had a long knotted black beard, that looked as if it were graying.

"First years this way! First years follow me!" The man called out again.

Rose and Scorpius did as he said, and followed. They spotted Albus in the distance, the two of them ran to catch up with him. Rose got along with Albus the most out of all her cousins. Albus always seemed to take her side when ever James would pick on her, and that was quite often.

"Hi Rose! Hi Scorpius! I'm sorry about James' behavior earlier... He's a real prat." Albus said with a half smile, happy to see some familiar faces in the crowds of first years.

"Don't worry about it Al. James will always be James, theres no changing that." Rose said with a smile, as the crowd of first years came to a halt.

They were standing in front of a huge lake, there were many, many small boats lined up on the shore.

"Three or four to a boat please!" The man shouted.

Rose, Scorpius and Albus got into a boat together, as the man lead the way across the water. The boats moved by themselves, no motor, no paddles, no help whatsoever, they glided across the water, gently. They could see Hogwarts in the distance, the castle looked magnificent, shining in the moonlight, it was big and beautiful as ever. Rose, Scorpius and Albus couldn't believe their eyes. It looked better than they've ever dreamed it would look.

"Who is that guy anyway?" Scorpius asked pointing towards the man guiding the way.

"No idea." Rose shrugged.

"He looks like someone my dad mentioned to me.. Hagard or something..." Albus said as he glanced over at the man.

**********

Finally, the first years docked on the other side of the lake, right outside the wonderful Hogwarts castle.

As Rose, Albus and Scorpius stepped out of the boat, and onto land, the man guiding them, began to walk towards them.

"Rubeus Hagrid, game keeper and care of magical creatures professor here at Hogwarts. You must be Albus and Rose." He said as he held out his abnormally large hands for Rose and Albus to shake. "Your parents told me you were starting your first year at Hogwarts." Hagrid let out a laugh. "And I'm sorry, I don't think we've had the pleasure of meeting." Hagrid said as he turned his attention to Scorpius.

"I'm Scorpius. Scorpius Malfoy."

"A Malfoy eh?" Hagrid grunted.

Scorpius nodded.

A Malfoy? Rose thought to herself. Didn't her dad say something about staying away from any Malfoys? But on the other hand, her mum said it would be fine if she hung out with a Malfoy. Her dads words repeated in her mind 'unless he's a Malfoy, stay away from them if there are any.' Her dad wouldn't be to happy about this...

"Anyways, First years this way!" Hagrid shouted as he lead all of the first years into the castle, where they met up with a very thin old woman. She was wearing a long, velvet, plum colored robe. Her hair was slicked back into a tight bun, and she wore a pair of glasses, that rested on the bridge of her nose.

"Hello first years! I'm professor McGonigal, transfiguration professor, head of Gryffindor house, and head mistress here at Hogwarts. We are about to enter the great hall, where you will be sorted into one of four houses; Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin. Your house will be like your family for the next seven years. Now this way." Professor McGonigal explained before leading the first years into the great hall.

As the first years reached the front of the hall, Professor McGonigal picked up a ratty old looking hat, and began calling out names to be sorted. There were many Gryffindors, Ravenclaws, Hufflepuffs and Slytherins all being sorted.

"Malfoy, Scorpius." Professor McGonigal called out.

Scorpius stepped forward, the hat was placed on his head.

"SLYTHERIN!" The hat cried out.

Everyone at the Slytherin table cheered, as Scorpius went to join them.

"Potter, Albus."

Albus stepped forward, the hat placed on his head. The hat seemed to have a harder time deciding on the right house to place Albus, when finally it settled on...

"GRYFFINDOR!"

Finally professor McGonigal called out. "Weasley, Rose."

Rose took a deep breath as she took a step forward, and had the hat placed on her head.

"GRYFFINDOR!" Called the hat.

The Gryffindor table erupted into cheers and Rose ran to join them.

That was it. Rose and Scorpius were in two separate houses, just as they expected.

Rose knew that they had already told each other that they would stay friends, even if they were in different houses. Rose wasn't sure how long that would last, once her dad finds out that she's hanging around with a Malfoy.. Rose decided she's keep the friendship a secret from her father as long as she could. She didn't want her dad to ruin her first Hogwarts friendship so quickly.
