Stronger (Sequel to I Wish)

I reccomend you read 'I Wish' before this one.

It has been one and a half years since Kirsty last saw the members of One Direction. They haven't contacted each other at all over this period so Kirsty has not told them that she is pregnant.
Her pregnancy was unwanted and unexpected and the father is her rapist ex-boyfriend Dylan, who again did it to her 7 months after she had moved away from the boys and out of her Dad's house.
Kirsty, now 18, is now nearing her due date. When she is putting up her decorations in time for Christmas, an early, unexpected present arrives at her door.

28. Today's the Day

Louis' POV

Kirsty and I sit, waiting for Lola's bed to be wheeled out of surgery. We stare at the door every time it moved, even if it was just the wind blowing it, until a still, pale Lola was wheeled through by the doctor. She stirs and tries to sit up but the pain was too much for her, so she cries out.

I run over to the hospital bed and hold her hand. "It's okay, baby girl. Just stay laying down."

She does as she is told and is placed back in her space. The doctor walks off to the nurses station to hand Lola's results to one of the young nurses. He walks off as the nurse comes over to us.

"Good afternoon Mr Tomlinson, Miss Evans," she greets us with a smile on her face. "Lola's surgery went very well, however, she may be in pain for another couple of weeks. We are happy for her to go home tomorrow afternoon, but she has to stay in bed until her scars have almost healed, at which time you will need to come back here for a checkup. Other than that, she is very well."

"Thank you, thank you so much!" Kirsty exclaims, teary, and hugs the nurse tightly.

"It's a pleasure," she turns to Lola. "Well done for being such a good girl during surgery. Would you like a sticker and a balloon?"

"Yes please," she croaks with a huge smile beaming on her face.

The nurse returned with a whole pack of stickers and lots of balloons. Lola pointed to the ones she wanted (a pink 'well done' balloon and a barbie sticker) and hugged the nurse - before wincing away from the pain in her tummy.

Two and a half weeks had passed like a breeze since Lola came out of hospital and she is now the bouncy, happy girl she once used to be. Today was the day that Miss Kirsty Evans would become Mrs Kirsty Tomlinson and the excitement was flowing through me.

She was at Niall's flat with Lola because Niall was staying here with me (of course, he was one in four of my best men) and I am worrying about whether or not she still wants to go through with this. Before she left yesterday afternoon, she was really self-conscious of her head because the treatment she has been having made her lose her hair.

We all are in my room sorting out all of our tuxedos, making sure that it is perfect. I'm sure the day will be perfect: no paparazzi, no arguments, no Dylan to ruin everything. Harry's phone rang and he leaves the room to answer it, and his face looked as if it was urgent.

Harry's POV

"Hello" I say.

"Hey Harry, it's Kirsty. Why do you sound so worried?" Kirsty's voice drifts through the phone.

"No reason." I relax on my bed.

"Okay... you sound a bit on edge," concern overcame her voice.

"No, no. I'm fine. Why did you call?"

"Oh yeah, I needed to talk to you about today," she breathes deeply.

"Don't do this Kirsty, he's been waiting for this moment for ages. You can't leave him on the day you-"

"What are you talking about? I'm not leaving Louis!" She chuckles through the phone.

"Thank god! What is it then?" I ask.

"Will you... uh..." she clears her voice and starts again. "Will you give me away."

I sit there in silence, trying to process what she had just asked me. "Harry? Are you still there?"

"Of course I will, Kirsty!" I exclaim excitedly and jump around.

Just then, as I was in the middle of my mad half-hour, Louis walked in and looked as if he had just seen the most odd looking creature.

"I've got to go, see you later," I say through the phone and hang up.

Louis raised an eyebrow at me. "I hope you're not going to ditch me at my wedding for one of your one night stands," he laughs.

"No way in hell! Kirsty just asked me to give her away," I grin like a madman.

"That's brilliant mate!" He congratulates me. "Can we go and finish getting ready now?"

"Sure!" I say to him and bounce out of my room and into his. We all finish our hair and fixing our tuxes and bundle into the limo, dropping Harry off first.

As we pull up way before the house, Harry says to me "treat her right, she deserves it. I wish I was in your position now, but I messed up when I had the chance with her. Don't make the same mistake that I did," and gets out of the Limo.

Kirsty's POV

Harry arrives outside the door and his eyes bulge as he sees me. "Hello? Earth to Harry..." I laugh and he wakes up from whatever fantasy he was in.

"Wow, you look... beautiful. Words can't describe..." Harry admires my dress.

"Thanks, can you take the trail as we get into the horse and carriage?" I ask.

"Sure," Harry says and picks up my dress.

"Come on Lola, lets go and see the horsie!" I say to Lola and she bounces out of the house.

There is a big, white horse outside my house, attached to a clear carriage with flowers above the wheels.

"Mummy! You're going to be just like Cinderella!" Lola squeals and runs over to the driver. "Can I stoke him?"

"Of course, but we need to go so maybe later," I smile before the driver can say anything and he nods, taking his place on the front of the carriage.

Lola climbs up into the carriage, followed by me and then Harry. I fiddle with my hands nervously as we drive to the church and then Harry places his on top of mine.

"Why are you so nervous?" He chuckles softly and his emerald eyes stare into mine.

"I don't know... I just..." I drift off and look at our hands.

"He loves you so much, nothing will ever change that. Stop worrying," his words sooth me and I take a deep breath in.

We arrive at the church and we all bundle out of the carriage. The sun was beaming down on us, such a perfect day to get married. I can't believe it.

"The others are going to be singing Little Things as you walk down the isle, so you can take your time," Harry grinned at me and I shook all of my worried away.

Lola led the way, sprinkling her little rose petals on the floor as we enter the main area. "Not yet, Lola. You're supposed to do that when we actually go down the isle," I tell her and she waits for the doors to be opened.

They are opened and I stare at the guests and then at Louis. Before I knew it, the whole room went black and all I could hear is gasps as I collapsed to the ground.
