Kiss Me Slowly

I was best friends with Niall Horan and was like a little sister to the rest of the boys in One Direction. But that was it. A little sister. That was all he would see me as. He as in the curly haired one. The one with the dimples and the four nipples. He as in the guy I'm in love with.

13. New And Old Friends

Dylan's POV

Harry's birthday party was a success. We played laser tag and had a few drinks. I couldn't stop noticing the new girl that Harry had befriended. I swear I had seen her somewhere before. I had to find out more. I made my way to her and tapped her on the shoulder.

"Hi" I smiled as she spun around. She smiled back at me.

"Hello, Dylan right?"

I nodded. "So Aimee, how did you meet Harry?" I asked.

"Well, I met him at a bar the other day when he was a bit upset and we talked for a bit. He said he was having problems with you or something and that he didn't really know what to do." She replied then took a sip of her drink.

"Oh, I see" I said. "And are you a One Direction fan?"

Aimee laughed. "Honestly, I've never heard of them before. But they seem pretty big right?"

I did a tight smile. Something wasn't right here. I know I've seen her somewhere before. Maybe at a concert of a signing of something.

"Yeah... hey are you sure we haven't met before?" I asked again, just to make sure.

She stared at me. "I'm sure" She replied bluntly.

"Ok then, well um... I better go find Harry" I smiled. "Nice chatting to you." I said before walking away.

I went to talk to El. "Eleanor!" I said.

"What's up babe?" She asked me.

"See that girl with black hair that Harry introduced to us?" I looked over in Aimee's direction.

She nodded. "Yeah Aimee right? She seems pretty nice."

"I swear I've seen her before." I said. "But I can't figure out where."

She laughed. "Come on Dyl, are you sure you have?"

"I'm 100% sure!" I replied. "I just don't know where. But she looks really familiar."

Eleanor pat me on the back. "Are you sure you're just not a tiny bit jealous of her being Harry's new friend?"

"What?" I said. "I wouldn't be jealous! You know me, I don't get jealous. But I just know that I know her from somewhere."

"Ok then, just stop thinking about it and dance with me." Eleanor pulled me onto the dance floor.

I laughed when I realised she was half drunk. "You're right! Maybe I'm just overreacting." I replied before I started dancing.

Aimee's POV

Dylan was on to me. I had to do something to make her not suspicious. But I didn't know what to do. I made my way to Harry and tapped him on the shoulder.

"AIMEE!" He shouted and hugged me.

I laughed. "Hi Harry"

"Are you enjoying yourself?" He asked me as he held a drink in one hand.

"Yeah! All your friends are so nice! Hey you should go spend sometime with Dylan, wasn't she the one who put this all together?"

He grinned. "I should, shouldn't I?"

I looked over at Dylan who was eying us. I shooed Harry over to her where he made his way to her and kissed her.

He whispered something in her ear and she giggled before looking over at me and smiling.

I smiled back before turning around and rolling my eyes.

That was going to be me in Dylan's spot one day. I just had to make my move.

Niall's POV

I had to get some air. It was getting dark and it was getting too stuffy inside so I made my way outside and sat on a bench. I took a deep breath. I smiled at myself. I thought about Dylan and Harry together. How they were an amazing couple.

But I couldn't help feeling lonely myself. It wasn't that I didn't want a girlfriend. It's just I could never find the right girl. I've looked everywhere and I've been on a few dates, but no one was right for me.

I was about to head inside when a girl ran out the door and bumped into me.

"Shit!" She cried out. "Seriously? Why is this happening to me?" I took a closer look when I realised she had spilt coffee all over herself.

"Fuck! I'm so sorry babe" I replied as I picked up her purse and handed it to her.

She groaned and I caught a glimpse of her face. She had distinctive cheekbones and very tanned skin with curly brown hair. She had on a tight white skirt with a grey jumper on top. She wore ankle boots and had a laptop in her hand. She looked almost angelic.

"Can I make it up to you?" I asked her.

She grabbed some tissues out of her purse and started wiping the coffee off her. "This is all your fault!" She snapped. "I'm late!"

"I'm so sorry! I didn't see you there." I said.

"Obviously" She rolled her eyes. She waved at a taxi before getting in without saying anything else to me.
