You Stupid Super-Soldier

Claire Seymour isn't your average 23 year old. Nope. When she was fifteen, she may have broken into a lab and may have stolen a vial with a pink substance in it and accidentally had it get into her blood stream, which gave her super-powers. She has enhanced strength, sight, speed, hearing and as a bonus, she has night vision, invisibility and regenerative cells which means she can't be injured and she doesn't age anymore. She is recruited into S.H.I.E.L.D when she is 16 after saving New York from her nemesis that had returned to reek havoc on her life. Now she is meeting Captain America.

3. Chapter 2 - Coffee

I had dressed casual, plain pink skinny jeans and a black tank top with a small pink cardigan. My red hair was up in a ponytail and I was wearing my 'nerd glasses' to make my green eyes pop.

I slid into a booth and ordered a coffee while I waited for Nick Fury.

"Ah, Miss Claire, you made it."

I looked up into the one eye of Nick Fury, "Of course. I have my decision."

"And?" He smiled at the waitress, "I'll have a black coffee please."

"Yes. I will join S.H.I.E.L.D."

"Wonderful. Now, we have a base here in New York you can report to."

"Okay, anything else?"

"My second-in-command Agent Hill will fill you in on the rest of the details, are you coming now?" He stood out of the booth.

"But, you didn't even get your coffee."

He dropped a couple bills on the counter, "so?"

"Okay then..."

"Are you coming or not?"

"Uh, yes sir."

I followed him out of the cafe and into a van parked on the curb. The ride wasn't long and we pulled into a tightly packed security gate, and another a couple meters down the road. We got out and I followed Nick Fury into the large building and through a maze of corridors till we stepped into a large room with computers and people in black uniforms bustling around.

"Hill!" Called Nick Fury.

A woman with dark brown hair pulled back into a neat bun and brown eyes bustled over.

"Yes, sir?"

"Please brief Miss Claire while I go and find Rogers."

"Yes sir." She turned and walked forward and into a circular platform with computers all around. I hurried after her. "Now, you might work alone or with agents or superheroes like yourself from time to time on missions," she continued on but I wasn't listening, fully, my gaze had landed on a tall, buff man that was facing the opposite direction, looking out a full glass wall. He had sandy-blonde hair, and from what I could assume, blue eyes too.

"Claire? Claire!"

"Hmm?" I snapped my attention back to Agent Hill.

"Were you listening?"

"Partially yes."

"Next time, listen better." She walked away and I looked back towards the man. I stared for quite a while till he turned and my breath caught.

I was right about the blue eyes, of course but I'd been staring at Captain America.
