Gone With Th1rteen R3aons (Liam Payne)

Shyanne disappeared one year ago.

No one knows where or how she is.

You must think the people who knew her would be sad, right?

Well your wrong.

The day Shyanne disappeared was the day everyone thought their secrets would disappear with her.

They moved on with their life acting as if it never happened, as if they didn't have any secrets to hide from the world.

That was until the day the tapes were sent to 13 people. 13 people who's lives would be changed forever.

13 people who caused Shyanne to disappear.

And you'll never believe who's one of them.

*Third POV*

"Liam! Liam! Over here!" shouted a voice from behind Liam

Liam looked over his shoulder, holding a tray filled with food, to see Shyanne, his best friend since primary school. A smile apperead on his face as his best friend waved her hand like crazy, indicating for Liam to sit with her. Of course, them being eachothers best friend, he gladly walked over and took the seat in front of her.

Today was their first day of secondary school and they only knew each other.

When Liam sat down in front of her best friend, he couldn't help but admire at how beautiful she looked today. Her hair was curled and the lighting made her brown eyes twinkle like a diamond.

Deep down, Liam could feel his heart flutter.

He knew this girl was beautiful. He also knew that he was lucky to be best friends with her.

Everything about this girl he loved. Her personality would light up any room she walked in. She was serious at time but was filled with bubbly fun.

"Hey Li!!!!!" she said smiling

The smile on Liam's face grew wider as her soothing voice filled his ears, making him feel weak to his knees.

Li was her name for Liam that she made up when she was about 10 and stuck to it over the years, not wanting to change it one bit.

"Hey Shyshy." he replied, also saying his nickname for her

"So how was your first day of secondary school?" she asked curiously

"Horrible." he says with a small chuckle

"Ya mine too. Who would have thought we would have piles of homework already!" Shyanne exclaimed taking a sip at her milk carton that she had in her hand

Laughter left Liam's mouth as he waited for Shyanne to continue. He never really talked even he was around her, he just wanted to hear her talk and melt in front of her.

"Oh my god! Have you had English yet?" Shyanne exclaimed seriously

"No....." Liam says trailing off curiously

"Mrs.Finn is going to be your teacher and ugh she is such a bitch! She already gave us a project that's due in 2 days and her breath smells as if she's never brushed her teeth." Shyanne said with a gagging face

"Hey! You don't know! Maybe she just can't afford to buy toothpaste."

"Liam, why do you always have to be the responsible one?" Shyanne chuckled

"What can I say? It's just in my blood." Liam said with a winking grin

"You are seriously special." she laugh

"And you love me for it!!!!!" Liam shouted loud enough to ge some weird glances

"I seriously wonder how we are even friends......" she says jokingly

"You mean best friends." Liam corrected

"Best friends forever." Shyanne corrected, lifting up her milk carton towards me

"Forever." he said smiling and bumping his water with her carton

They didn't break that promise, for that year at least.

But everything changed 1 year later.

Something that changed their friendship, forever.

Something that Liam just can't seem to

Remember.

*Liam's POV*

Tears streamed down my face as I hit the paused button.

Why would she be sending me this?

Where is she?

What happened to her?

I remembered the day she disappeared. Everything that day seemed perfect, no homework, perfect weather, and best of all Shyanne was happy.

Something that she wasn't in a long time.

Nobody ever expected her to disappear later that night. Nobody ever expected her to just get out of her flat and leave.

Never looking back.

Not coming back for her best friend, me.

I cupped my hands around my face and let the tears fall down my cheeks. The tears that fell down my face were the ones I had been holding back for a long time.

Never in a long time had I ever felt this way about a girl. But that one girl had to leave. Leave a good life that she had here.

A life that I thought was good.

More questions filled my head as I wondered what happened to this girl, my best friend, that caused her to go.

So without hesitation, I wipped off the tears of my face with my sleeve and did the hardest thing possible at that moment. My finger brushed the one button and slowly pushed it.

Play.

And then I listened.
