My Bloodsucking Prince

Have you ever walked home feeling like someone was watching you? I did on the day I was kidnapped by Niall and kept captive as him and his friends food source. Vampires, they're all vampires. I'm reunited with my middle school bully and everything changes for the worse. Will I ever be the same again?

9. Chapter 9

I sped to my room and slammed the door shut behind me, making sure it could be hear through the house. I walked to my desk, plopped down in my wheeley chair, and pulled out a piece of notebook paper and pencil from the drawer. I started to jot down a list of chores that needed to be done so that I could keep track. I liked to be organized and neat while I do any type of work, and writing things down had always helped. I took the folded piece of paper out of my pocket and opened it up to a list of chores.

Gabriele! I need these things to be done before I get home tonight! I know you will do a good job. Have fun!

Vacuum Floor

Wash sheets and make bed

Dust furniture (Desk, Shelves, Chairs, ya know, that type of stuff)

Pick up trash in the bedroom and bathroom and take it out

Clean Windows

Do laundry (Fold clothes and place them on bed. I will put them away)

Clean the whole bathroom (More toilet paper underneath the sink would be lovely)

More clean towels need to be put in the cabinet

(P.S. My room is the one next to Niall's, try not to get lost.)

I wrote everything down, then checked it over to make sure I didn't forget anything. Leaving the list on the desk I got up and walked to my closet to change out of my pajamas into my "cleaning clothes" which consisted of gray shorts and an over sized red shirt which I tucked in. I kept my hair in the bun and walked to the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face. I prayed that the boys hadn't forgot my pimple zapping cream at my house, or this little "friend" of mine was going to be here for another couple days. I dug through the wicker basket, throwing things out and making a complete mess around me. I  had finally found the small tube that would fix my face at the bottom of the basket, my heart leaping for joy. I squeezed a small amount of the white cream onto the tip of my finger and poked the area between my eyes, leaving a white dot. I was going to be home alone for most of the day, who cared what I looked like at the moment, not me. I hear a quick knock on my bedroom door.

"Gabriele?" I heard Niall call out.

   "In here!" I call back.

Niall walks into the bathroom in his purple zip up jacket, dark, baggy jeans, his blonde hair up in a quiff, and his cologne was starting to overthrow the lemon bathroom scent.

"Hey, what are you doing?" Confusion filled his expression as he sees me bent over the sink.

"I am applying zit remover cream on my face. What are YOU doing?" I looked at his reflection in the mirror, which surprisingly was there.

"My boss just called. She wants me to come in early to help put up new merchandise."

"Oh, okay. Before you go, I need that list of chores and will you show me where the washer and dryer are? And, the cleaning supplies also."

  "Yes, follow me."

He lead me down stairs, through the hall, pass the living room to a hall that the bathroom was located at. Next to the bathroom door was another door that I must have not noticed before.

  "Everything is downstairs."

"There is a downstairs too?" I asked.

He opened the door and started walking, with me following behind him. My feet hit the squeaky wooden steps and my hand ran alone a wooden rail for balance. When we reached the bottom, the air was very warm and humid, but the cemented floor was freezing the souls of my feet, making my whole body shiver. The light suddenly flickered on by Niall pulling on a sting attached to the ceiling light. All I see are piles of storage boxes stacked up high along the walls to the left, and to the right are the washing machine and dryer with a single wooden cabinet hanging above filled with laundry detergent, fabric softener, and other cleaning bottles.

"There is the storage boxes with decorations and other random things." Niall points to the piles of boxes. "And over here is the washer and dryer, I will show you how they work."

We walked to the machines, Niall explained how the machines worked, what soap to use, and how much if it to use. By the way Niall was explaining everything, you would of thought that I had never done laundry before and that I had no clue what to even do. I've been doing my own laundry ever since I was 11, this would be a piece of cake.

"Do you know how to fold shirts and stuff?" This kid was really clueless.

"Yes, I know how to fold. Niall, I have been doing my own laundry ever since I was 11, don't worry."

He exhailed in relief. "Okay, awesome. I hoped I wouldn't have to show you how to to everything. I'm not good at teaching that kind of stuff."

" Does anyone else need their laundry done besides Harry?" I ask.

"Nah." he replied. "They do their own, Harry is just lazy."

  "What about the cleaning supplies?"

  "Those are upstairs, come on."

We waked upstairs into the kitchen, stopping in front of the sink and Niall opened the cabinet door. He explained what each bottle did and what they are used for.

"If we run out of anything, just let me know and we can pick some up at the store." he continued.     "Okay, I think I got it all. When do the other boys come home?" I asked.

"Liam comes home for his lunch break at noon, Zayn will be home at 4:30, and Louis get off at 3, so you will at least have some company through out the day."

"What do I do for lunch?"

"Eat whatever you would like, but drink as much water as you can. With a lot of blood loss, you need to drink lots of water, I don't want you to faint or anything." He walked to the bottom cabinets near the dish washer and grabbed out a red water bottle.

"Here. Drink about four of these and you should be good." He handed me the bottle, which I took in my grasp.

"Yes Mom."    Niall's phone started ringing like crazy to notify him with a call. He pulled his phone out of his pocket and read the caller ID.

"It's Harry."

He pressed the answer button and started talking.

"Hello.  pause. Going to leave for work soon, why?  pause. Which restaurant?  pause. Which friend?  pause. Are we meeting you guys there?  pause.  What time? pause.  Yes, I can ask if they would like to come.  pause. Well of coarse we are bringing Gabriele, why wouldn't we?  pause. Okay, whatever Harry. I'll see you later."

I stood there patiently for the phone call to end. "What was that all about?" I asked.

"Change of plans, we are going out for dinner. Bailey has a friend she is bringing and we don't have enough chairs for the both of them." he replied.

Well, thank goodness. This place was an absolute wreck.

   "Where are we going?"

"I don't know, some weird Mexican restaurant Bailey likes. I would just dress casual. Be ready by 5:30, we have to be there at 6:15, but I don't know how long it will take us to get there."

"I like Mexican food. My favorite part is the chips and salsa, especially if the salsa is homemade."

"You can never get enough chips and salsa." Niall laughed.

"Thanks for showing me were everything is. I would have probably spent and hour searching, which would not be good."

"You are welcome Gabriele. If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask. Okay?"

I set the water bottle down on the counter and smiled sweetly at Niall. He returned the gesture by smiling his adorable smile with his eyes sparkling its beauty. My heart beat started to race and my stomach went into a flip. Niall was so cute, I could just stare at his face all day long and not get tired of it. At that moment, all I wanted to do was kiss him, but I couldn't cause I didn't know how, and the fact that I'm the food supply popped in my head and that idea was flown out of the window.

"Well, I better get going, don't want my boss to get angry." Niall broke the trance between us, making the atmosphere a bit awkward.

I swallow some extra saliva and return back to reality. "Yea, No one wants that right?"

He walked closer to me with his long arms open for a hug. I took the gesture by wrapping my arms around his body and nuzzling my face into his chest, breathing in his wonderful scent. He wrapped his arms around me and I felt instantly at home. When he spoke, his chest vibrated, making my cheeks tickle.

"Your hair smells good." Niall mumbled.

"Well thank you. I try my very best."

We both laughed, still in each others arms.

"I'll see you later Gabriele." he kissed the top of my head and rubbed my back in slow circles.

  "See you later Niall."

We let go of and look into each other eyes.

"Your eyes are very pretty." Niall complemented.

"Not as pretty as yours though."

Niall's cheeks turn a soft, rosy pink color and he smiled shyly. He reached into his back pocket and pulled out a piece of folded notebook paper.

"Here is a list of things that need to be done around the house." I took it out of his hand.

"Yay! More chores." I said with sarcasm, clearly not excited.

He laughed and walked over to the fridge, grabbing his blood bag out, turned his head to me, winked, and left out the back door. I stood there in the kitchen waiting for the sound of his car to pull out of the driveway. I heard the car make a load screeching noise down the road and I knew that he was gone.

"Lets go see what else I have to do today!"    I filled the water bottle with ice water and walked into the living room, plopping down on the couch to get comfy. I took the note and opened it up to sloppy, boy handwriting. I took me awhile to understand what it had read. Man! His handwriting was horrible!

Hello Gabriele, here are the things that need to be done around the house. It is okay if you don't get them all done today, but do try your very best.

Do the dishes, wash, dry and put away the ones that don't go in the dishwasher.

Clean the stove and counters.

Sweep and mop floors

.Vacuum carpet through out the house.

Dust furniture

Clean windows

Clean living room and dining room

Clean everybody's bedrooms and bathrooms

Sweep front and back porch

Air freshen the whole house when you are done.

"This is going to be a very long day." I got up and began my boring day of cleaning.

I had just finished cleaning the kitchen, living room, dining room , and just started to vacuum the stairs when Liam came home for his lunch break. He had entered through the front door with a black duffell bag hanging from his shoulder, black tank top that exposed his buff biceps, and he was wearing gray sweat pants and black running shoes. You could tell he had been working out by the way the sweat on his expose skin glistened off the light in the room. I turned off the vacuum and Liam smiled as soon as he saw me sitting on the bottom of the stairs.

"Hello Gabriele." his deep, British voice made my hear race.

Play it cool Gabriele, try not to sound like an idiot. Oh goodness he looked so hot.

"Hey Liam, how are you?" I tried my best to talk normally.

"I am very good, how about yourself." he set down his bag onto the floor.

"Eh, I have been better, chores are not that exciting."

"Yea, never enjoyed them myself. Are you hungry? I was just about to make myself something, and you look like you need a bit of a break."

"Okay sure. I am a bit hungry. What time is it?"

He glanced quickly at his black watch on his left arm.

  "Okay ."

I stood up and walked to the kitchen. Liam went to the fridge and scanned the shelves until he noticed the blood bags and grabbed his own for the day, then grabbing a container of left over spaghetti from last night.

"Are leftovers good with you?" he asked

"It doesn't matter, would you want anything to drink?'

"No thank you, I have this." he shook the blood bag in his hand.

The blood bag reminded me of when Niall had told me I had smacked Liam, and I felt the need to apologize.

"Oh yea, sorry about smacking you last night. I don't know what would have made me do that since I'm not a very violent person."

  He laughed.

"You are fine Gabriele. Niall warned me that you had and arm, and if I woke up to a person poking a needle in my arm, I probably would have reacted the same way."

He put the container int o the microwave and pressed random buttons until it turned on and started rotating.

"Why didn't you just ask me when I was awake? I probably wouldn't have minded."

" I don't know actually, that sounds like a better idea if you think about it." he shrugged his shoulders then grabbed two forks out of the drawer. The microwave beeped signaling the food was done.

 "Grab some bowls Gabs."

I grabbed two bowls from the top cabinet and walked them over to Liam.

"Thank you ma'am. You can sit down, I will bring it over to you."

I remembered I forgot my water bottle in the living room and I didn't want to clean anymore dishes then necessary.

"Let me grab my water bottle, I will be back."

"Hey, could you grab my phone out of my bag? It is in the side pocket."

"Yea, of coarse.'   I walked into the newly clean living room, grabbed my water bottle, then went to Liam's bag and searched around for his phone. When I found it, the phone buzzed in my hand notifying a text. I looked at the screen to see if was from Niall.

"Hey, make sure Gabriele hasn't done anything stupid. I don't want her to run away."

My blood boiled in my veins, my jaw clenched together as hard as it could. Do something stupid? Who did he think I was, a four year old with fireworks?! I can't run away! I'm compelled to stay in this stupid house until other wise. Anger filled though my whole body as I stomped into the kitchen.

"You know, I'm not very hungry right now. I better finish cleaning before I eat anything. And don't worry, I won't do anything  stupid, make sure you tell Niall that."

I slammed Liam's phone on the counter, screen faced up in front of him. He stood there in shock of my blasted interance and read the text that was sent to him.

"If you need me, I will be cleaning the rest of this stupid house. See you at dinner Liam." I snapped in his face and walked out of the kitchen. I grabbed all of the cleaning supplies and made my way upstairs, leaving the stairs to be vacuumed later.
