Zayn's POV

Its been a month and so far its been calm (A/N: I kind of left out a small detail it's been about a year in a half since Zayn and Marcy started dating. I haven't really been specific with dates... whoops). Marcy is recovering slowly, but I can't just expect her to bounce back. Currently we were sitting in the living room watching TV. It most likely won't be a productive day and this day is way over due. I felt a gust of wind, spoke too soon.

I felt myself being thrown against a wall to see my older sister, Doniya. "Well isn't it nice to see my lovely baby bro all grown up," she smirked, letting me down and turning to Marcy. "Oh Zayn who is this? Mum would love to see her. She has no pulse, so I'm guessing she's a keeper. How long has it been Zaynie, like a century?" I wasn't on the greatest terms with my family so I chose to keep Marcy from them. I'm not to sure how my sister even found me.

Our family kind of went their own ways and I wasn't happy with any of them. Especially Doniya, the last I saw of her I shoved a stake in her stomach and watched her crumble to the ground. Unfortunately I can't kill my sister or any of my family for the matter. Our generation goes way back so being a vampire is in our blood. I don't know how vampires were created, but not a lot of families have this gene. The only non-original in our family is my mother and she is an immortal witch.

"Why are you here Doniya?" She laughs, "I just wanted to see my baby brother." I scoff, "we both know that's a lie. What do you want?" She rolled her eyes, "fine if you must know I came to rip your pretty little heart out, but remembered I can't. Then I saw your fiance and decided to torture you another way." I was scared now because Doniya was much more powerful than Marcy, but Marcy won't go down without a fight. Now Marcy isn't as strong as she could be because she stopped drinking human blood.

I could hear Marcy screaming with her hands on her ears. Doniya smirks at me, runs over to Marcy and stabs her in the stomach with a wooden stake. Marcy gasped and fell to the floor, but I caught her before she hit the ground. She tried to pull the stake out, but was burned. "You have to pull it out, it has vervain on it," I looked at her and grabbed the stake. I pulled it out, she gasped and put her hand over her stomach. "God I wish I could kill her, no offense." I laughed, but paused "Marcy I don't want you to fight her. If she makes you angry ignore her she's not worth it and I don't want you to get hurt."

We hear the door open again, we look up to see who it is. I look to see my mother and all of my sisters. My mom looks at Marcy and her eyes go wide. "Those eyes, who's you mother dear?" Confusion flashed through Marcy's eyes, "Emily Blake?" My mom puts a hand over her mouth, "your Marceline daughter of  Emily. They never said you survived, you were born to the most powerful family of witches. I guess the line ended seeing as your not human nor witch." My mother came closer to Marcy and looked into her eyes.

"You were drained of power after being tortured, you were turned on accident and used your last spell to eliminate a threat. Poor child used up any magic you had left." My mother put her hands on Marcy's head, Marcy tried pulling away but couldn't. "I never knew what happen to Emily. Let me see." Marcy's eyes widened, "No please don't do it! I can't go through that again, please-" The room went quiet and all you could here was my mom chanting something I couldn't understand.

Marcy started to hyperventilate she slowly dropped to the floor, tears streaming down her face and my mother didn't even flinch when she started screaming. When she was finished with the spell she let go of Marcy. "What did you do to her?" My mother simply said, "I made her relive her mom's death. I know it was a traumatic experience, but I needed know what happened." I looked over at Marcy and she was in the same spot, still on her knees with arms crossed. Her head was down and you could here her soft whispers of 'why did you do that?'

I walked over to Marcy and crouched down in front of her, "why did she do that Zayn? I saw her being ripped away from me again. The pain of being stabbed and the pain of seeing my mom die. I could barely handle it the first time. " I stood back up and walked over to my mom, "I could make her a human again Zayn," my head snapped up, "what do you mean, you can't do that without killing her. She'll die as soon as she wakes up because she cheated death."

She sighed, "the witches on the other side aren't happy about the Blake blood line being cut they saw that Marcy was still alive. They would do anything to have this blood line back it's their biggest asset. Your sisters and I can call to the other witches and they could turn her into an immortal witch. So the blood line will never end and she cannot be killed just like you." I had to think about it because the good part is she won't be able to turn her humanity off, but I feel like there is something else my mom isn't telling me.

"If you and the other witches knew about Marcy why are you just coming to us now?" She sighed, "Before Marcy wasn't a danger to herself." I looked over at Marcy and saw her daydreaming. "Ok she can do it." My mom nodded, "I warn you it will be a very painful process and you will see many sides to her that you've never seen. Can she take it?" I looked over to Marcy,

"yes."
