The Sketchbook

Olivia is an art student and her local college, she lives with her best friend Caitlin in an apartment in a small city in England. One day she's sitting in the park near her local shopping mall and spots a mysterious good looking boy sitting there, she's never seen him around before. And before she realises, she's drawing him, trying not to be obvious. She quickly walks off when he realises what she's doing, she just cant get him out of her mind.

1. The Park

Olivia's P.O.V

I feel the warm summer breeze brush past my face as I walked through the park, looking around for somewhere to sit and enjoy the warm weather. I spot a slightly shaded patch under a medium sized tree and plopped myself down, leaning against the trunk. I opened my sketchbook, placing it on my knees as i looked around for inspiration for something to draw.

Then i spot a rather good looking boy sitting on one of the park benches on the side of the path that cuts through the middle of the park. He looked like he was waiting for someone because he had his arm stretched out across the back rest, tapping his hand on it impatiently. I also loved what he was wearing; black skinny jeans, a loose light grey top, a sleeveless washed out denim jacket, white supras and a navy blue beanie with his black hair pulled back into it, he must've been boiling hot though as it was summer.

Before i knew it, i had started to sketch him sitting there, my hand rushing over the page like it has a mind of it's own. I wanted to have it finished before he leaves. I feel like such a stalker right now.

Zayn's P.O.V

I was getting impatient waiting for my friend Niall to show up, I got my phone out and looked at the time. He's 15 minutes late. That boy never arrives on time. I glance up from my phone and scan the park for any sight of the little leprechaun, but something else catches my eye instead. Or should I say someone. A girl with long blonde hair hunched over a sketchbook. I look to the side a little bit, then out of the corner of my eye I see her look straight at me, then scribble something down in her sketchbook, she repeats this a couple of times. I smiled slightly when I realise she's drawing me. Then I see an energetic  boy with a blonde quiff running up to me. He stops infront of me and scratches the back of his neck.

"Sorry I was late man, I missed my bus!" He explains a bit out of breath.

I laugh at him a little. "Ah, it's okay don't worry about it." I reply.

I stand up and peer over Nialls shoulder and look at the girl. She looks up and spots me looking at her, she looks down at the ground, she knows i caught her drawing me. She grabs her bag and closes her sketchbook and quickly walks off.

"Hey, Earth to Zayn" I hear Niall say as he clicks his fingers infront of my face. I snap back to the real world and find Niall standing there with that ridiculous grin of his plastered to his face.

"What?" I ask him quite rudely.

"Oh nothing" he starts, "apart from the fact you were practically drooling over that blonde over there" he finishes with chuckle. I narrow my eyes at him then punch him on the arm. "Ow!" he complains.

"I didn't even hit you that hard Niall" I state.

"Yeah well... I have sensitive arms" he replies. I shake my head at him and laugh.

"Right then, lets go" I say.

"Where to?" he asks.

"Topman?" I suggest.

"Sure, lets go" he replies.

Crap, he realised I was drawing him, he probably thinks i'm an absolute weirdo. Hopefully i'll never see him again. Why do I embarass myself like this all the time, ugh what's wrong with me. I was mentally kicking myself for getting caught. When I saw him looking straight at me, I just got up and walked away so he wouldn't come up to me or anything. I was still impressed with the result of the drawing though, It came out pretty good considering i only had about 10 minutes to do it. That boy was so incredibly gorgeous, I can't get him out of my mind, why haven't i seen him round him  before?
