The Kolarin Cycle, Book One: Wildfire

(Haven't edited yet, there may be a few mistakes)
I came up with the idea for Wildfire a while ago but i was busy at the time and i never got around to it, but now i've finally started so here it goes. Wildfire is about a boy named Castir who was abandoned by his mother when he was little, she had given him into the care of a travelling circus of thieves, he quickly learns the skills of an acrobat and starts being sent on more dangerous missions, but the death of a loved one followed by the biggest heist of his life could ruin his.

9. Chapter 8 The First Kolarin War

History of Kolaria. The First Kolarin War

It was a three way war, with Ugard, Lor, Gerabir and Quon together against Varmala, Sandor, Tanania, Julvor and Aeola against Chun-ik, Mora, Fara and Buran.

Carna was neutral during the war, in fact I don’t think they were aware there was a war.

They were fighting over the territory that is now Zanuland. Quon had over come Julvor and forced it to retreat back into Tanania, which was currently at war with Buran and Fara. Quon waited in Julvor to regroup with the Ugardian generals to decide their next move.

Meanwhile Mora was fending off two fronts, and well too, Aeola and Sandor were attacking from two sides, hoping to crush Mora in a vicelike grip.

Chun-ik sent a whole contingent of warriors from Chu-Rian up to TaCara which was currently under Chun control, they then sailed down the River Cara.

They arrived just in time and sent Sandor back into the Sandorian desert. That left an opening for Mora to fight back and sent Aeola packing back to their floating fortress, Avia.

Gerabir and Lor were teamed up against Varmala, and were trying to put VarKalla under their control.

During the Moran celebrations Quon attacked. Because all of Chun-iks and Moras forces were so spread thin it was an easy take over for Quon. Mora and Chun-ik were forced to make a shaky alliance with Aeola and Sandor.

The current Buran king agreed as did Fara, Varmala, Julvor and Tanania.

Tanania and Julvor sent forces to repel the Ugardian attacks from Burans borders. Whilst Fara sent its troops to Varmala to counteract Loran and Gerabiran attacks.

Quon seeing that they were fighting a war on the losing side, relented and joined the Aeolan army as did Lor and Gerabir.

Now that almost all of Kolaria was united under one banner they stormed Ugard and forced Ugard to surrender. But the problem that had started the war was still sitting their unclaimed. So the kings from each respected segment sent a portion of their people to live their.

All except Ugard, who despised inter racial birth, and refused to send 11 families, as it was the agreed number. They returned to their home and stayed there, not letting anyone into its borders or leaving those borders, ever.

The remaining ten segments, agreed upon the name of Zanuland, instead of what Julvor wanted to call it, Julsanvaraeoquonchunfaburmortanlorbir.
