8. Chapter Eight.

~Lennox's P.O.V.~

When I wake up in the morning I'm in Colton's strong arms. Ive got my face buried in his chest. I can smell his woodsy scent and my god does he smell good.

I can hear his snores and it hits me that I never went home last night. Quinton's probably worried sick.

I need to wake him up so I can go home.

"Colton?" I whisper shout. Nothing. He just keeps on snoring.

"Colton?" I do it again. Still nothing.

So I lick my pointer finger and stick it in his ear, giggling.

"What the hell?!" He shouts shooting his eyes open.

I just break out into a fit of laughter after that. It was so funny. His face. Oh, now that's a knee slapper.

"What'd you do that for?" he asks while Im rolling around and clapping like a retarded seal. I'm laughing so hard no noise is coming out.

After a couple minutes of laughing I settle down and look at him. He's smiling. Ive never really seen a genuine smile on him. Its always that damn smirk. I like his smile. He looks cute.

~Colton's P.O.V.~

Even though that was absolutely disgusting seeing her laugh like that was the most adorable thing I've ever seen.

When she finally stops laughing she just stares at me. What I'm about to do next she's never going to expect. I leap over to where she's now laying on the bed and start tickling her.

She starts screaming and squealing and I cant help but laugh. I know I need to make her happy for as long as I can because soon the reality of her father dieing is bound to set in and I don't know how long it'll be before I see that smile.

"Stop! Coltoooooon! I cant breaaathe." she says while still laughing

"Will you ever give me a wet willy again?" I ask raising my eyebrow, still tickling her.

"No! Stoooop!"

"Pinky promise?"

"Yes!" She screams still squealing like a little girl.

I stop tickling her and hold out my pinky and she wraps her tiny pinky around it.

I just sit there for a minute with our pinkies intertwined, staring into her eyes. With her hair fanned out around her head, I have the sudden urge to kiss her.

I lean down and softly put my lips onto hers and my stomach goes crazy with butterflies. I didn't even know guys could get butterflies.

~Lennox's P.O.V.~

Oh my god. Colton is kissing me right now and there's fireworks going off in my body, no, more like nuclear bombs.

Our lips move in perfect synchronization and it feels great. A little too soon for my liking he lets go and rests his forehead on mine.

He is gorgeous. So gorgeous. If somebody would have told me yesterday that I would be kissing Colton Jackson, the guy I absolutely despised I probably would have said something along the lines of "Get of out my face you filthy peasant."

"I have to go home." I say with a slight frown.

"I know. I'll drive you." He says getting up.

"Your clothes are over there, but you can keep the ones you have on if you want." I decide to keep them. They're comfy and they smell good. Plus, I don't really feel like changing. I'm lazy.

I grab my clothes and wait for Colton to get ready to go.

When he's done he grabs his keys and looks down at my bare feet.

"Where are your shoes?" He asked his face quirked up into a smirk.

"Right here." I say holding them up in my hand.

"Why aren't you wearing them?"

"I don't feel like it." He just chuckles and leads me downstairs.

Wow, his house is huge. Like really huge.

We walk to out the front door and to to his car.He opens my door for me.

"Thank you." I say smiling.

He nods and shuts the door walking around to his side and gets in. He starts the car and starts driving.

"Where do you live?"

I explain where I live and we drive there in a comfortable silence.

When he pulls up to my house I feel tears start to well up in my eyes. I don't want to see my mom all sad. I don't want to see Quinton upset. And I don't even want Lacey to be anything but happy.

"It'll be okay. If you need me, just call. I put my number in your phone last night." He says smiling sweetly.

"Are you sure its going to be okay?"

"Yes, eventually. Everything gets better."

"Thank you Colton. For everything. And I will call you."

He nods and I get out the car carrying my clothes and shoes up the front door. I open up the front door and look back at Colton once more before heading to the living room. I watch him drive away.

"Mom? Q? Lacey? Is anybody here?"

Its completely silent in here. When I reach the living room its completely torn apart. Everything is broken. All of our family photos, the vases my mom had, the glass coffee table, everything.

"What. The. Hell?"
