Top Ten

So I'm known as a "Music Junkie".
Music is an outlet that keeps me sane. So I decided I'd share some of my favorite music in a movella. So I have decided that once a week I'll upload ten songs that I've found or just heard that week that I think people should check out.
You can leave me links in comments for me to check out music. I'll not be making just a list but also saying what I love about the music and if they have a music video what I like about them.
Hope people like this!

2. June 16, 2013 - June 22, 2013

So I'm writing this one a little early on account that I start a new job next week and I want to make sure that is posted! (A day early won't hurt anyone!)

Also, I'm thinking about starting a YouTube channel which would be me talking further in detail about music. Would you watch it? Let me know.

You guys are awesome, by the way!

Much love!

PS: Most of these songs are very upbeat so to kickoff summer!

1. Live It Up - Jennifer Lopez ft. Pitbull

**Just a great song to start the summer! It's a great club or party song. Any song with Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull is guaranteed to be a hit. The music video is just a big party scene on the beach but Jennifer Lopez looks stunning as always. (Sorry woman crush! too bad she is the same age as my mom)

2. Haven't Had Enough - Marianas Trench

**This song is so catchy, you will be singing this song for awhile. Yes, I know it's old but I only recently found out about Marianas Trench. "Testing testing, I'm just suggesting you and I might not be the best thing" - opening line and favorite lyric. I cannot tell you how many times I have listened to this song. Plus, I downloaded it for my iPod a few days ago and it's already the number one played song. Be prepared to spend some time listening to it.

3. Should've Gone To Bed - Plain White T's

**So I didn't even know that the Plain White T's were still together and making music but I was proved wrong when I came across this song. It's not one of there better songs but it does have a nice beat to it.

4. Noche De Los Dos - Daddy Yankee ft. Natalia Jimenez

**Get ready to want to dance with Daddy Yankee's new song. It's okay if you don't understand Spanish you'll still want to dance to this. Strong beat! The music video, released June 14, 2013 on Vevo, is pretty much only dancing but in a club scene for most of the time. I promise this is a fun song.

5. Slow Down - Selena Gomez

**As of right now there is not music video for this but Vevo has uploaded the audio for lovely listeners. I will be honest, I'm not usually such a big fan of Selena Gomez but I do love this song! The beat to this song is so fun and the lyrics are catchy. I do see this song as being a hit all summer long. I didn't think Selena Gomez could sing a song that I believe could be played in the club but this song could definitely be played in the club. Pretty impressive Selena Gomez, pretty impressive.

6. What About Love? - Austin Mahone

**So I found this song from Vevo's hot this week. I had never listened to Austin Mahone before but this song is pretty catchy. I'm listening to it for the fourth time now (more to come I'm sure). The music video looks like a short from a Step Up movie but the dancing is pretty impressive in my opinion. Austin has a pretty decent voice in my opinion too.

7. The Phoneix - Fall Out Boy

**Let's start off with the music video. If you watch the music video for this it is the prelude of My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up) also by Fall Out Boy. So I do suggest checking out both of them. Both of these sounds are found on their album Save Rock And Roll which is constantly playing for me. Strong vocals coming from Patrick Stump, Pete Wentz keeps the bass rocking along with Andy Hurley on drums. Joe Trohman also plays a beast guitar. The lyrics are amazing and I cannot imagine anyone else singing them aside from Patrick Stump.

"You know time crawls on when you're waiting for this song to start so dance alone to the beat of your heart." - Favorite lyric!

8. 22 - Taylor Swift (Alex Goot + Friends COVER)

**So first off if you take the exact cover as written you can find this or go to gootmusic on YouTube to listen to this. I'm not a big fan of Taylor Swift, sorry. But I said the lyrics would be so much more powerful with a stronger beat and a different singer. So when I found this it had exactly what I wanted from the song. A stronger beat and they have multiple singer sing the song. All vocalists are powerful enough to take this song to an entire new level. Also, I love the music video because you can tell they are having fun with it which is really all a music video should be.

9. Blurred Lines - Robin Thicke ft. T.I. + Pharrell

**If you haven't heard this song yet don't even read this description yet! Go listen to it right now and don't waste anymore time!

This song just had such an old school beat with new school lyrics and I'm obsessed. The song is talking about the blurred lines between good and bad. Robin Thicke's voice mixed with Pharrell's ability to hit some high notes combined with T.I.'s rap makes a number one song. Also, this just so happens to be the number one song on Billboard's Hot 100 for the week. I'll make you let your own opinions for the music video mainly because I just laugh the whole time.

10. School's Out - Alice Cooper

**I just had too guys! For the most part everyone is out of school for summer (sorry for those who aren't out yet) but this song is for you! The bass in this song is crazy amazing and mixed with the guitar and drums makes one hell of a song. The lyrics to this song are just crazy which is usually how kids act when they get out of school. "No more teacher's dirty looks" that is the best line in the song! If you are a young soul and have not heard this it is a must listen.

Okay guys! There's the Top Ten for this week! I hope you enjoy them! Next I'm going to do a list of some of the all time best summer songs! Trust me I've been going back for awhile and listening to a lot of music. So I hope you'll like these songs as well. There won't be too much description for these mainly because they are all just summer songs for you guys. (Some summer singles are in there too!)
