Niall Horan is the most popular boy in Westfield High School. When the new girl, Macie McCoy, arrives, Niall's view on girls completely changes. Will Macie let him into his life? Or will she just shun him out like every other guy that tried hooking up with her? This may seem like the cliché bad boy story, but let me tell you. It's not.

2. Chapter 2

Macie's POV

"Go back to where you came from!" "You don't belong here!" "Loser!" "No one likes you!" "Get out of here!"

*beep, beep, beep, beep*

I rolled over to the side of the bed to turn the alarm off of my phone. Thank god it was only a dream. I hope this school isn't that bad. I force myself out of bed and get ready for my first day of senior year at Westfield High School.

"You look cute today, honey" my mom said as I enter the kitchen. I smile at her in thanks. "Nervous for the first day?" I shook my head up and down to answer her question. She lets out a small chuckle, "you must be since you're not speaking much." "Bus is here, Mace!" my dad shouts. "Coming!" I shout back, "bye, mom. Love you." "Bye, hun!" I grab my bag making my way to the front door. "Bye, booger," I teased, hitting Max on the head. He just grunts, upset at the fact I'm too far now for him to hit me back. "Bye, dad!" "Bye, Macie! Have a good first day!" I jog over to the bus taking a deep breath, preparing myself for the big day ahead of me.

The bus drops everyone off in front of the school. I look around to examine the people messing around out front. There's the typical dickhead jocks, slutty cheerleaders, nerdy math geeks, etc. I have yet to find my "social standing". I personally hate it, but I don't want to be classified as the new girl who didn't have any friends. As  I make my way to the front doors, a small group of boys, maybe about five of them, look my way. Watching every move I make. One catching my eye. He had blonde hair, brown roots showing through, he must die it. His piercing blue eyes caught mine, catching me off guard as I run into a petite girl. "Oh, I'm so sorry," I remark. "Oh no, its fine! You must be new here, I'm Brooke" she said with a smiling face. "Macie," I nodded. Brooke smiled again, "I'll take you to the principles office so she can get all of your things for you." "Thank you." I followed Brooke to the office. The feeling of those blue eyes still lingered on my body. The principle gave me everything I needed as I placed it inside my bag. "Now, I will just get someone to give you a tour and you will be all set!" the principle said. "Okay, thank you." She walked off, examining the halls for someone to give me a tour. I finally hear her speak, "ah, Mr. Horan. Since you like to skip class, how about you give this lovely new student a tour of the school."  A smirk grew upon his face, "gladly." The principle walked away leaving me and "Mr. Horan" awkwardly standing in the hallway. "Well, lets get started." Multiple conversations filled the hallway making it a little hard to hear. "Oh, I'm Niall by the way. What's your name, babe?" Uhm what? Did he call me babe? "Well, its not 'babe'. I'm Macie. Macie McCoy." He chuckled, "sassy one aren't we?" Ugh, I hated this boy already. I am not sassy. Students from left and right flashed us glances as they all whispered to each other. "Uh, Niall? Why is everyone whispering?" His face became smug, as if he seemed proud of something, "Well you see, Macie. You're the new girl and you're being seen with me at the moment." "So?" "Most new girls are never seen with me." What the hell was he talking about? Oh, no. I hope he isn't one of those boys who tries to get every girl in his pants. We continued the tour as multiple girls eyed him up and down. I mean, I don't blame them, he was kind of cute. Shit. He is one of those guys. Wait a minute. He was in that group of guys that kept staring at me this morning. The bell to be in first class finally rang. The halls quickly cleared. "Any questions?" I nod my head no, "thanks." Niall grew a hesitant look on his face. "What?" I asked. "Uh, do you maybe want to hang out after school?" My cheeks began to turn a light pink as I tucked a few strands of hair behind my ear. Being the new girl, I only had about two friends, so why not? I'm pretty stubborn to keep myself "out of his pants". "uh, sure." He flashed an adorable smile, "great! meet me here at the end of the day."
